Response to the Keirsey Temperament Sorter II


Reading Life of Pi, one must consider how Pis perspective on religion impacted his story. As we enter this year at HCHS, our focus is on community, and your sophomore year leadership training asks you to consider interpersonal relationships. One way to bridge the gap between your freshmen year concentrating on personal character and this year, you will hopefully learn about some of your own traits to be able to maneuver in your relationships with other people. Writers Purpose: Write an introductory letter addressed to me within which you should argue the validity of the Keirsey Temperament Sorter II personality test. As you defend and/or refute the results, argue with examples from your life, relationships, and activities why you agree or disagree with these results. Guidelines I. Please include the following: Introduction: Introduce yourself and provide your test results. (Be sure this isnt boring!) Body: Make your argument and provide your proof. Conclusion: Reveal what you learned about yourself from this experience that will help you with this school year. **Be sure that in some part of your letter you: Describe some personal experience or beliefs that have shaped or altered the way(s) in which you see things. (Do you live your life based on some sort of story?) II. Construct a thesis statement that is included within the letter. This is your claim revealing your agreement or disagreement with the test results. III. Follow the appropriate letter format. IV Maintain an effective tone for your audience and consider the depth of coverage for your topic. V. Proofread and edit your letter for proper grammar and writing mechanics.

Collage Using a sheet of construction paper (something colorful) no bigger than a sheet, draw, paint, collage, sketch, a pictorial symbol of items that represent your personality. You must include more than one picture. You should also include a picture of yourself. You do not have to draw it. It can be done on the computer or cut out from magazines; HOWEVER, simple clip art is not allowed. Make sure your classmates and I can tell which personality you are by the pictures you pick.
