Waxy OConnors Glasgow has 6 unique bars covering 3 levels which are linked together by a maze of staircases and passages. Each bar has an atmosphere of its own so there is something for everyone at Waxys. Whether you are after somewhere to enjoy a chat over a glass of wine, a bite to eat whilst out shopping, somewhere to hold a private party or corporate function, a place to cheer on your team or you just want to dance the night away to your favourite tunes, we have it all at Waxy's.

Waxys is well known for the quality of Scottish and Irish food served throughout the day. The menu changes seasonally and we use the finest local produce including Loch Fyne Oysters and best Scottish Beef. The dishes range from Crocks of Mussels, Steak Sandwiches and Salads to the traditional Haggis, Neeps & Tatties or Guinness Sausages & Mash.

Live music every week including Acoustic Duo every Thursday and Sunday night, with a traditional music session every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon as well as our resident DJ every Friday and Saturday night.

Waxy O'Connor's has established itself as a fantastic venue to watch live football, rugby, Gaelic football and hurling.

The Library has a beautiful hand painted ceiling and cosy fireplace which makes this area the perfect place to relax for a quiet drink or meal. The room is perfect for small business meetings or functions.

McTurks Bar is our most popular private area tucked away below street level. Great for birthdays, leaving dos, Christmas dinners and corporate functions.

The Dargle is surrounded by shop fronts and can be used for a function on its own or as an addition to McTurks Bar.

The Church Bar is Waxys most spectacular bar and is available for private functions from Sundays to Thursdays. Can also include the Guinness & Lower Church Bar area for larger functions. This is the best place to watch the rugby!

Waxy OConnors is in the centre of Glasgow between George Square and Buchanan Street. Entrances are on Dundas Lane, next to Queen Street Station and on West George Street.

Train: Only 50 yards to the Dundas Street entrance from Queen Street Station. From Central Station a 5 minute walk. Bus: All buses lead to the city centre and the majority pass George Square, which is only 2 minutes walk away. Underground: Buchanan Street Station is only 30 seconds walk away. Car Parking: Buchanan Galleries Shopping Centre car park is a 5 minute walk. There is also an open car park behind Queen Street Station.
