Manual Handling

Controls
1.1.1 Ensure the area has been confirmed and cleared by the concerned authority,prior to entry into the work area.Do not use areas outside of the cleared area of access. 1.2.1 Ensure no work is conducted in this area until signed permits to work are in place. 1.3.1 All staff and workers undergone QP/QG safety induction training. 1.4.1 Ensure no work is carried out until all permit to work;pre-start meeting topics and JSA have been discussed &signed off. 2.1.1 Use proper manual handling procedures 2.2.1 Materials heavier than 25 kg must not be lifted by one person. 2.3.1 Use proper safety gloves

3. 3.1.1 Always keep manufactures instructions manual at site, always refer and follow it strictly using all parts from manufacturers. 3.2.1 Certified and trained scaffolders should be used in erection of scaffold. 3.3.1 Mobile scaffold should be provided red or green tag as per the status of the scaffold. 3.4.1 Wheels of scaffold should be locked properly. 3.5.1 No change in mobile scaffold is permitted by working team, only scaffolders team can make changes. 3.6.1 Do not stack more than required material on platform, ensure items on platform is protected from fall and ensure tie off. 4.1.1 Ladders inspected and color coded. Visual inspection before usage 4.1.2 Correct angle ratio 1:4 4.1.3 Maximum length 4,5 m 4.2.1 .Ladders must be fixed or secured properly on both ends.
