1 Qualification required for shikshan sevak is as follows A Shikshan Sevak: S.S.C, H.S.C.& D.Ed. completed their entire education in English Medium. B. Kinder Garden (K.G) Teacher (Only for Female) H.S.C. Passed with minimum 6 months K.G. training course. Completed in English Medium. At least 1-year experience of teaching in English medium K.G. is required. C. Sevika: (Only for Female) Minimum 7th Std. Pass 2. Age Limit: Age limit for Shikshan Sevak is minimum 18 years and maximum. For Open 33 years. For Backward Class the age limit is 38 years. Age limit would be calculated as on 31/05/2009.

3. Remuneration a. Appointed Shikshan Sevak shall receive Rs. 3000/- p.m. Net as monthly b. Kinder Garden Teachers- Appointed K.G. Teachers shall receive Rs. 2200/- p.m. net as Monthly remuneration. C. Sevika: - Appointed Peon shall receive Rs. 1700/- p.m. net as monthly. 4. Selection Procedure: As per the decision made by the Education dept., Govt. of Maharashtra on 27/02-03, all the invited applications collected from authorized officers as well as from advertisements would be sorted as per the different caste category. Taking into consideration the % scored in D.Ed. written Exam & written Exam conducted by Shikshan Mandal Pune Mahanagrpalika and oral test merit wise Waiting list will be prepared and displayed on the notice board at the office of Shikshan Pramukh, Shikshan Mandal, Pune Municipal Corporation. The final selection list would be prepared after considering any objections from candidates. The original mark lists and other certificates/proofs would be verified at the time of interview. Physical abilities as well as overall personality would be checked so as to confirm the requirements needed for Shikshan Sevak are met. No any marks for the interview. Selected candidates will have to appear for the interview at their own expenses. 5. How to apply? A. Applications should be forwarded as per the specimen/format shown along with. Applications should be Typed/handwrittten/computerised or cyclostyled on 30cm x 20cm size white thick paper. A latest passport size photograph with own signature is to be affixed on the application form by the candidate. B. Hospital. Candidate applying for Shikshan Sevak from Open Category must send a demand draft amount Rs. 100. Those applying from BC Category must be sent a demand draft amount Rs. 50. The draft is to be raised on the name of ' PRIMARY EDUCATION FUND, ACCOUNT NO. 6002, SHIKSHAN MANDAL, and PUNE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION'. The draft must be drawn on any nationalized Bank and payable at any Pune Branch. The applicant must mention his/her complete name, address, and category on the backside of the draft. This office will not responsible for the application lost in transit OR for postal delay if any.
