NOTE *1 This vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System that requires a (+)Positive thru a 2700
Ohm Resistor to LOCK and a (+)Positive thru a 620 Ohm Resistor to UNLOCK, some units will also
require 2 extra relays part #775 to connect, See DAGRAM NOTE *2 To DSARM requires a
(+)Positive thru a 750 Ohm Resistor and an extra Relay part #775 to connect, See DAGRAM NOTE
*3 The BCM (Body Control Module) is located under the DRVERS SDE of DASH and is attached to
the FUSE/RELAY box. Connector 4 is a 26 pin plug at the bottom edge of the BCM. NOTE *4 this
vehicle uses 4 door pin triggers, at the BCM Connector 4, the DRVERS DOOR is a TAN (-) Pin 5, the
PASSENGERS DOOR is a TAN/RED (-) Pin 6, the DRVERS REAR DOOR is a TAN/ORANGE (-)
Pin 7 and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a TAN/YELLOW, Pin 8. When connecting to an ALARM
SYSTEM, use all 4 wires and DODE SOLATE. See DAGRAM NOTE *5 the TRUNK/HATCH
Release on this vehicle is a 5-Wire System and will require an extra Relay Part #775, to connect, See
DAGRAM.

'control harness.' This wire will be used to control the bypass module, if needed. ATTENTON-
Some of these vehicles fall under a campaign program though the manufacturer to upgrade the
computer system when the vehicle is serviced at the dealer. After the upgrade is complete the
vehicle may not remote start. The solution is to add the second start wire as per the 2002+
Chrysler Mini-Vans. Unfortunately, feedback from installers indicates it is not possible to add the
second start wire prior to the computer upgrade procedure as unexpected vehicle behavior may
result. See Note #162
