LEGAL ASSISTANT
Primary duties are assisting founding attorney, Laurel Scott, with legal forms, inquires such as the
USCIS (United States Customs and Immigration Service), client/firm communications, etc. The
focus is on family based immigration, immigration law, and immigration reform.
Primary duties at Athletic Department are providing administrative support including preparing
correspondence, word processing, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking/filing documents. I
would coordinate travel for the athletic department, process expense reports, assist with planning and
coordination of special events, provide back-up receptionist coverage, maintain the department library, and
archive the department files. Partly due to this position, I have excellent verbal and written communication
skills and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. I would frequently work with Excel, Powerpoint,
Access, and Outlook.
Primary duties at Technology Dept. is training fellow students in a computer lab regarding internet usage,
Microsoft Office tasks, and Print Shop. Would also help in assisting students in learning to make the most
out of their internet experience by training how to use search engines to do projects, training in use of word
processing programs, etc.
