CONSTRUCTION
The Prepaid meter consists of 3 parts 1) Meter the DEM series The meter DEM series is digital microprocessor unit of kwh metering with internal switch functionality within one single compact enclosure. It is usually installed in a secure, locked electric distribution panel. DEM series has many models to choose from single phase two wire and 3 phase 4 wire. 2) Card reader ICR815 The ICR is a compact unit for clients operation interface with IC card slot as well as a friendly LED display. It is usually installed in a convenient location in consumers home-remote or room or site ICR815 card reader unit is connected to the meter DEM series with a communication cable type CAT#5 plug-in cable. 3) Programming unit ICR815W Programming Unit, this is card programming that installed at services provider, Using this unit to program or renew the user card to active again.

FOR SERVICES PROVIDER While the utility cost is charged and additional of house rental fee charge method is not only non economic but also unfair. Our pay as you go meter provides a simple and cost effective solution for property manager. FOR USER The User ca easily monitor their electricity usage so as to control their budget to use. Since the room rate exclude the electricity cost, that will allow the User pay less on total rental cost if they willing to save more energy.

HOW IT WORKS? FOR USER Operation simple The User should purchase the a card from service counter, after inserting this card into their individual ICR815 room unit, the electricity power is coming and the ICR815 will automatic deduct electricity cost from the card until amount is used up. The User can easily read the outstanding value and also update kwh to monitor meter's kWh from the card reader ICR815 room unit. When the cash in IC card amount used up, the meter will shutdown the power later (*). That will force the User to buy a new card to get electricity power again. This pay as you go metering system is very similar using calling cards, that is quite simple and reliable.

The manager can set credit period at ICR815 to extend up to 200 hours, that allowed Users have time to prepare new card. So as to prevent theirs power being interrupted

MORE ADVANCED FEATURE

Low value alert As long as there is amount on the IC card, consumption is enabled and when value is below a certain limit, called low value, the consumer is warned by beeper and flashing lamp to notice the User to prepare a new card within a certain period... If new card is not loaded, meter's internal relay will automatically switch off while the used up.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION
The DEM series meter and ICR815 card reader always installed together. To avoid the hi voltage risk to user then card reader ICR815 came in this picture and use to install in the room or user point for user access. kwh meter is separately installed from IC card room unit to take care the hi voltage part. Normally, DEM meters are installed at a centralized meter panel and ICR815 room unit is installed at individual room. Using a standard cat #5 cable to connect between them. Installation is simple and requires no special training. ICR815 room unit do not need extra power supply, it direct get its power from DEM meter itself. This advanced design eliminates the extra power wiring labor and cost. After installation is complete, using a key card to initialize each ICR815. Since then, the ICR815 will only accept the User card which generated by this key card family.

Credit Period
Credit period is also available for user as the optional setting. This special period can be loaded up to 240 hours (max.) During credit period, the relay will maintain closed and all the consumed data is stored. Until the next new User card is insert, it will be auto deduct the value from this new card.

Fraud Detection
Whenever the meter system detects attempts of fraud, the relay is switched off to shutdown power.
