Becoming A Sponsor Contacts

GREETINGS
Dear Sir or Madam: On behalf of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) chapter of Stanford School of Medicine, we would like to invite you to become a sponsor for the 18th National APAMSA Conference. This years conference, Prescription for Change: ACT Now, will be held at Stanford School of Medicines brand-new teaching facility, the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge, on October 14-16, 2011. APAMSA is a national organization founded in 1995 to serve as a forum for medical students to discuss and engage in issues important to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) American health. Each year, the national conference brings together students and leaders from around the country to learn about the unique challenges that APIs face, which include, but are not limited to issues of health care access, language barriers, mental health challenges, and Hepatitis B. Sponsorship of this conference offers your business a unique opportunity to recruit and connect with a diverse and talented group of students who will one day serve as physicians, advocates, and leaders. Your endorsement of APAMSA is an investment that demonstrates concern and interest in the API communities and their health. Enclosed is more information about the conference and sponsorship options that are available. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the conference directors at conference@apamsa.org. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,

2011 National APAMSA Conference Team

This past year, the health care system has undergone a great change. In choosing this theme, we hoped to evoke the need for active change among future physicians in order to remove the ever-present health inequities and lack of health access that hamper the wellbeing of Asian Pacific American populations.
