Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded financial assistance for education beyond high school. Federal Student Aid plays a central and essential role in supporting postsecondary education by providing money for college to eligible students and families. We partner with postsecondary schools, financial institutions and others to deliver services that help students and families who are paying for college. Today, Federal Student Aid performs a range of critical functions that include, among others: Educating students and families on the process of obtaining aid; Processingmillionsofstudent financial aid applications each year; Disbursingbillionsofdollarsin aid funds to students through schools; Enforcing financial aid rules andregulations; S e r v i c i n g millions of student loan accounts,andsecuring repayment from borrowers who have defaulted on their loans; Operatinginformationtechnologysystemsandtoolsthatmanagebillionsinstudentaiddollars. This is a complex, multifaceted mission that calls on a range of staff skills and demands coordination by all levels of management. Consequently, Federal Student Aid, a PerformanceBased Organization, emphasizes tangible results and efficient performance, as well as the continuous improvement of the processes and systems that support our mission.

Miami Hamilton and Miami Middletown have an open admission policy for first-time college students. Students in Indiana will find lower tuition this year as well as a valuable education. You will be admitted if you have earned a diploma from a secondary program chartered by the state board of education, a General Educational Development diploma, or if you are alternatively-educated. Undergraduate studies

Students majoring in integrative studies, engineering technology, and nursing can pursue four-year degrees on the regional campuses. Students may also begin their baccalaureate studies at Miamis regional campuses and relocate to the Oxford campus to complete any one of dozens of majors from accounting to zoology. In order to relocate to the Oxford, students must complete at least 20 semester hours with a 2.0 cumulative GPA at a regional campus.
