Skyworth products include digital set-top-box (digital satellite receivers, digital terrestrial receivers, digital cable receivers etc.), High-definition TV players, security etc. Skyworth HS-12 is a high-resolution MPEG2 SD, MPEG4 HD, H.264/AVC SD, H.264/AVC HD box. The front panel of the box is laid simply. Buttons are situated in the middle of the box. The rear panel is equipped with all types of necessary connectors. The box is supplied with a manual written in English. Throughout this manual you will notice that the everyday operation of the receiver is based on a series of user friendly on screen display and menus. These menus will help you get the most from your receiver, guiding you through installation, channel organizing, viewing and many other functions. You may control the receiver with the help of remote control. Make sure that you have properly installed and connected the cables of the receiver. If the receiver is the factory status or there is no program list, when power on, the Main Menu window will be displayed on the screen. This menu consists of 6 major main menus, including Edit Channel, Installation, System Setup, Tools, Game and REC. During the installation the OK key confirms a selection and LIST key shows Down List Box if the column has 34 mark. You can also use the numeric keys on the RCU to enter numeric value. Skyworth

supports DiSEqC 1.2 and USALS protocol. All the local oscillator frequencies for C and Ku-band are present. English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Polish and Persian languages are available for communication. Every user may find an easy language for communication. Skyworth has the capacity to store 5000 TV and Radio channels. You will also find a list of complete updated satellites. Software upgrades through RS232 port and Receiver to receiver, Support USB upgrade is also available. This receiver is also available with Ethernet port. There are single satellite search and multi satellite search. In the single satellite search, you may scan a satellite in circle. Or press OK key to pop up the drop-drown list, then select the desired satellite in the list and press OK key to confirm. You may select FTA or all channels for scanning here. While in the multi satellite search, you can search several satellites when auto scan is selected in the scan mode. Press the left and right keys to select between auto scan and Preset Scan. auto Scan is Blind Scan, while Preset Scan is to search the preset frequencies. Skyworth has the fast channel search. 1298 TV and 578 Radio channels were found in 5 minutes and 20 seconds. Like other receivers, Skyworth after completing the search, save all the searched channels and then goes on the first channel found. The searched channels may be delete, edit, sort and moved to one of the 32 favourite list, so that they may watch when free. of this model is that it has very stable hardware with HD1080i, HD720p and outstanding performance. Pressing the OK key will display the channel list on your screen. It may be sorted by alphabetic A-Z. When you press the EPG button on the remote control, you will get an advance information about the upcoming programmes. Similarly, pressing the info button will display complete information about the on-screen channel. There is also a Time Shift and Timer Setting functions in the Skyworth Receiver. For Timer Service, select between channel and message. If channel is selected, the wakeup channel is displayed here. Kids may be keep away from adult channels through parental control function. The Media Player menu will be disabled when no USB device is plugged. Media Play List will not be saved when USB plug out or standby or power off. Move scroll bar when press up/down key, page up or down by page key.
