'... in many ways an excellent cast, with an indescribably singing and acting Mexican No Colin as Falstaff.' De Limburger

the press wrote enthusiastically about No Colins FALSTAFF at the Opera Zuid. For his DON PASQUALE at the Vienna Popular Opera, at the Linz Theatre and the Wuppertal Opera House the artist received highest acclaim. The bass-baritone is also very much sought-after as LEPORELLO (sung among others at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Teatro Cuyos of Las Palmas and at the Czech National Theatre in Brno), as DULCAMARA in Lelisir damore (at the Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, the Vienna Popular Opera, the Palacio de Bellas Artes Mexico), as DON MAGNIFICO in La Cenerentola ( in a production of the Zurich Opera House and at the Teatro Principal de Palma de Mallorca) and as BARTOLO Barbiere di Siviglia (International Music Festival in Chiemgau). In 2010 the artist sang a.o. SANCHO PANSA at the Prague State Opera, DON MAGNIFICO in Mexico City, DON BASILIO in Bogot as well as DULCAMARA in Italy. His vocal and acting abilities allow the Mexican-born singer to portray the most versatile roles ranging from serious to comical. Thats why his repertoire not only includes parts like Sr. Giorgio in I Puritani, Zuniga in Carmen, Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Falstaff, Timur in Turandot, Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte, but also Varo in Hndels Ezio, Pizarro in Fidelio, Sarastro in Die Zauberflte and many others. No Colin began studying at the National University of Mexico with Professor Gonzalo Gonzales Cano and Professor Enrique Jaso Menodza. After finishing his singing studies with diploma, he enlarged his opera repertoire with Professor Ubaldo Gardini and was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Opera House Zurich. In 2005 he won the International Singing Contest Giovanni Pacini in the City of Pescia in Italy. Among all recordings, No Colin made, the role of Aliprando from Gioachino Rossini s Matilde di Shabran for the Italian Record Label BONGIOVANNI deserves particular mention. The many distinguished artists with whom the baritone singer already performed on stage include Placido Domingo, Carlo Cosutta, Vernica Villarroel, Luis Lima, Neil Shicoff, Bernd Weikl, Rolando Villazon and Ana Netrebko. Besides, he worked with such renowned conductors like Marcelo Viotti, Riccardo Chailly, Edoardo Mller and many others. In the concert sector as well No Colin is a very sough-after singer. He regularly performs on international stages, where he sings concerts, masses, Lieder from Brahms, Mahler, Mozart, Beethoven, Hndel, Bach and Verdi. In the opening concert of the 2. Rostropowitsch Festival at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow he sang the bass part in Beethovens 9. Symphony conducted by Mo. Christoph Eschenbach. In 2011 he portrays DON MAGNIFICO at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki and the Vienna Volksoper, and will perform DON PASQUALE in Bogot and DULCAMARA in the new Theatre of Bicentenario
