Global Institute of Technology Society (GITS) has been promoted by Kandoi Group, an Industrial House engaged in manufacturing and Hospitality Business. Kandoi Group is actively involved in social activities such as running of charitable school and organizing Mobile Surgical Camps.The promoters are highly educated in diverse fields having received their education in India and abroad. They have great ambition and commitment to facilitate technical education in Rajasthan in the form of setting up a globally comparable educational institution. GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (GIT) isone of the premium institutes in Jaipur which offers Engineering and Management courses. GIT has been accredited with A grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is the first private engineering college in North India which has been accredited with 'A' grade. Since its very inception in 2002 by the Global Institute of Technology Society (GITS), the Institute has been committed in its mission to contribute to the development of the state by promoting quality technical education. Over the years, our students have made us proud by achieving a level of excellence which others strive hard to emulate. In continuation of its contribution towards technical education GITS has introduced GLOBAL COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (GCT).It provides an environment where best of the professionals and students are able to accomplish their pursuits through quality teaching, training, publications, research and consultancy.

INTRODUCTION
GITS brings PARAKRAM, the Annual Inter College event with the motive to boost the soul of the sportsperson, technical person, lying underneath every engineering student. All engineering college have a highly specialized curriculum, which mainly remains focused on developing the technical skills and knowledge of the students studying in it. Although engineers do require such a studious curriculum and following it, the student may become technically sound, but under such a routine the inner voice of the person that lies in every young heart, gets suppressed. And as the old saying says, A healthy mind resides in a healthy body, the rigorous syllabus might develop the healthy mind of the students, but to keep that healthy mind, it requires a healthy body and Technical Mind. So, PARAKRAM is such an event that would not only observe the spirit of the mind and game on the field but would destroy the barrier that obstructs that voice of the sportsman and let him develop a zeal for sports and to roar over the world. It will provide a platform to students from across the country to provide their excellence in diverse fields of Technical, Indoor, Outdoor,Fun events and a lot others. As Parakram10 held in Oct-2010 with a great success and exuberance which attracted over 2500 participants from Global Institute of Technolgy, Jaipur in a total of 20 events in both girls and boys

EVENT DETAILS
PARAKRAM11 is the 5th edition of this extravaganza. It provides a platform to students from across the country to prove their excellence in the diverse fields of sports like Table Tennis, Race, and technical like Junkyard, Technical Quiz, Symposium, National Conference, LAN Games & Indoor like Floor Decoration Tattoo Making, Nexus, Fuddle and a many more. Attracting over 2500 participants from various parts of the country, its a much sought event by students community from all over. This edition of Parakram promises to be a grand event with an unseen scale of participation, activities and events. After receiving the overwhelming response and exhilaration of the participants as well as spectators, this year Parakram will be back in action from the stage where it was left.
