RCBO for operator, re and line protection with AC and pulse fault currents
RCBOs the perfect form of protection against short-circuit, overload and electrical res. RCBOs which are designed as a single constructional unit save time because they reduce wiring requirements and make it easier to coordinate devices. Wide range of applications thanks to devices with rated currents of up to 40 A and rated fault currents of 10 mA, 30 mA or 300 mA. Quick and safe connection of supply thanks to location of busbar to the rear.

RCBOs are a compact means of achieving operator and line protection in a single device. They are used whenever plant availability requirements are high. The RCBOs are themselves protected against overload by their own circuitbreaker element. There is no way that excessive load currents could result in unintentional overload. Each electrical circuit has its own RCBO assigned to it. The full fault current is therefore available to each circuit as leakage current. If a fault current occurs in a circuit, only the circuit concerned is de-energized, which contrasts sharply with what happens when there is group of MCBs located upstream of activated RCCBs. In the event of a fault, all fault-free circuits remain on voltage, making for a high degree of plant availability. The standard pin busbar is located to the rear, which makes it considerably easier to connect busbars and wires simultaneously. It is easy to check whether assembly has been carried out correctly. The extensive range of additional components available for the 5SY miniature circuit-breaker can be used.
