‘Adam Schiff was elected to Congress in November 2000 and has served as a Representative for
California consecutively from 2001 to the Present. While election lw does nat requite a Candidate or

During Rep Schif frst term in Congress he and his wife Eve Seif purchased a home in Maryland on
‘or about June 5, 2003, the mortgage documents for ths purchase stated in paragraph 6, that they would
‘occupy the home as ther "Primary Residence" for 12 consecuthe months. Representative Schiff and his
wife continued to vote in California Elections after legally relocaing and declaring residency in
‘Maryland. This a Violation of California Election Code section 18578
Rep. Schiff ran for re-election in Calfornia every two years, fling 2 Declaration of Candidacy in Los
‘Angeles County deciring he was a resident of California, This sa ilation of California Election Code
section 18203,
Representative Schif reaffirmed his Primary Residency in Maryland in 2009,2010,2011 and 2013 by
refinancing his Maryland home ashi “Primary Residence” (attached Mortgage Documents) The
‘Mortgage Documents forthe Maryland home would bind Rep. Sif to the Maryland home for 12

‘2008 Representative Schif was the subject ofa House Ethics complaint for claiming the Maryland
hhome a his Primary Residence fr tax purposes and explained this 2s an error and repaid the exempt
{axes to the State of Maryland, The problem with his explanation is that he refinanced the home in
2010, 2011, and 2013 again claiming the home in Maryland as his Primary Residence
(On July 14,2020, fellow member of Congress, Steven Watkins of Oklahoma was charged with criminal
‘counts for violations similar to those of Rep. Schiff While Mr. Watkins’ violations of law were far less
‘egregious than those by Rep Schif, Mr. Watkins was held accountable by @ Court in Oklahoma,
‘Allof the Mortgage Records are public records and avaliable on simple internet search.
‘On ly 29,2009, shortly after Representative Watkins was charged, Rep. Schiff updated his Voter

‘maintaining his Primary Residence in Maryland. The California Election Code is lear as tothe
requirements to meet the residency requirements to vote. Those requirements do not include signicontract to occupy @ home In Maryland as his Primary Residence for 12 consecutive months, FIVE times
If Representative Schif chooses to maintain the claim, hei resident of California then he needs to be
