All taking off should be clearly done accordance to the CESMM 3. Clear descriptions for each Item of the B.O.Q. should be given and use abbreviations in the Taking off sheets.

Where any information is missing ,the specification is inadequate or exact nature of construction is not clear, you may make sensible assumptions. All assumptions made shall be entered on a Query Sheet " for the attention of the Architect / Engineer.
Scope of work in the B.O.Q. should be : -
