i. GENEraL dESCriPTioN
Features: The Wind N Go 2-Way Radio is a
22-Channel FRS/GMRS radio and 2 LED fashlight.
This dual function radio also includes 38 CTCSS
privacy codes per channel, VOX voice activated
transmission for hands-free use, auto scan and
monitoring of all channels, 10 call alert tones,
keypad lock, and cell phone charger. The LCD
screen is backlit and the housing is weatherproof.
#7910 comes with 2 radios and an AC/DC adapter
that charges both units at the same time. The
radios may also be charged using the dynamo
hand crank for emergency power generation. May
also be charged with a 12V vehicle charger (#7991
sold separately).
Benefits: The Wind N Go 2-Way Radio is
more than just a walkie talkie. In addition to the
standard 2-way radio communication, this unit
also features a 2 LED fashlight, which makes it
useful in situations where the power may be out.
Another unique feature is the dynamo charging
system. If the power runs out of the rechargeable
batteries, just wind it up for additional power. This
feature can be very useful if the power is out for
extended periods of time. With 22 channels and
an additional 38 privacy codes this radio offers a
vast array of possible communication frequencies,
even in areas with crowded airspace.
Uses: 2-Way communication for camping, hiking,
hunting, car travel and many other personal uses. Use
as a method of communication for event management,
facility management and especially ideal for use
during extended power outages using the dynamo
hand crank. You can expect a range of 1-3 miles in
and around buildings or other obstructed areas. In
completely wide-open areas up to 10 miles may be
achieved. Optimal operating conditions would be with
an unobstructed line of site. Range may be reduced
based on conditions including weather, power lines,
and geography.

Do not look directly at the light as it may cause injury.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not submerge
the unit or its accessories in any liquid. Unit emits a
radio frequency. Do not use within 6 inches of any
pacemaker. Do not carry in the breast pocket if you
have a pacemaker. Follow instructions on posted signs
in areas where RF transmission can be dangerous.
Unit is water resistant but not waterproof. Administer
close supervision when using around children.
