 In 1921-1923 Mitsubishi Electric manufactured 10,000 electric fans. In 1945 Mitsubishi Electric start production of radio and speakers. In 1953 Mitsubishi Electric released the first electric television (model 101K-17) In 1968 Mitsubishi Electric completed the first nuclear power generation(40,000kVa). In 1976 Mitsubishi Electric produced JAPAN largest capacity nuclear power generator and a full gas insulated substation. In 1980 Mitsubishi Electric achieved sales of one trillions yen. In 1985 Mitsubishi Electric introduced 37 inch color T.V. In 1989 Mitsubishi Electric achieved sales of two trillions yen. In 1991 Mitsubishi Electric established the Mitsubishi Electric Thailand foundation. 1994 Mitsubishi Electric released the world first energy saving household air conditioner. 1995 they established research center in Europe. 1996 Mitsubishi Electric established a joint venture in China for the production of semiconductors. 1997 Mitsubishi Electric awarded BEST OF THE BEST prize by the U.S environmental protection agency in recognition of outstanding contribution to environmental protection. 1999 Mitsubishi Electric recycling plant for the household appliance industry. In 2001 Mitsubishi Electric developed the world smallest, lowest, energy consuming single clip encoder for,MPEG-2 video and audio system integration. In 2004 Mitsubishi Electric the Best Supplier Award by The Boeing company. In 2006 Mitsubishi Electric successfully launched the MTSAT-2 multifunctional transport satellite.
