Morally Correct Newsletter #331 May 2006 Being morally correct should concern Christians much more than

being politically correct. All too often, truth is overlooked in order to be politically correct. Overlooking truth just wont cut it with Christians. There is only one salvation, and that salvation is Jesus Christ. When others try to remove God and Christ from our vocabulary, they become our enemies. Dont ever do business with an enemy. Choose to do business with a Christian. Lets begin our study in the Book of Luke. Luke 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. Jesus Christ is the Light. You cant hide Christ, if you are a Christian. To do so would be an insult. Some would say, But I thought Christians were to get along with everyone. Oh? What did Christ have to say about this? Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, the body also is full of darkness. When your spiritual eye is single (clear), your whole body is filled with light. Those concerned with political correctness are afraid of offending someone. Those concerned with moral correctness are offended, when someone tries to remove one nation, under God from our pledge of allegiance. Let the light of Christ shine through you that others might find Jesus. It could save their soul. Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. The light becomes darkness, when Christians become concerned with political correctness at the expense of truth. They are so concerned with offending someone that it seems they are ashamed of their Savior. There is a war against Christianity going on. Which side are you on? Luke 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having ho part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. Dont allow anyone to rob you of Christ for the sake of being politically correct. Many have shed blood, and many have died, on the battlefield so that you can have the right to worship as you choose. Stand up for your religion. Stand up for Christ. Skip with me to verse 44. Luke 11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. They were messing around with death unawares. Death is Satan (Heb. 2:14). You too can be messing around with Satan unawares, if you are always worried about insulting someone over the name of Jesus. He paid an awesome price on the cross. You insult Him, when you are ashamed of your Christianity. Luke 11:45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto Him, Master, thus saying Thou reproaches us also. They were offended and insulted by the words of Christ. In their eyes, He wasnt being politically correct. Do you think Jesus will apologize and say He is sorry? Luke 11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! For ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. This is morally correct. Jesus spoke the truth, and He wasnt at all concerned that it might offend someone. Let Christ be your example. The scribes, Pharisees and lawyers were making it impossible for the people to find salvation. Luke 11:47 Woe unto you! For ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. He is speaking to the Kenites. They were building up the graves sites of the prophets to look nice, and it was their ancestors who killed the prophets for speaking truth.

Luke 11:48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres. V49 Therefore also said the Wisdom of God , I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: There are many self-proclaimed prophets today. I think they will change their tune, when the going gets tough. Luke 11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; The word generation in this verse is derived from a Greek word meaning offspring. Whose offspring? Luke 11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. Are you a Bible student? Who slew Abel? I hope you dont need three guesses. Cain slew Abel. His offspring are called Kenites. The Kenites serve their father, Satan, and they are trying to remove Christ. Be aware of what is going on , even now. They are the enemy, unless they accept Christ. Only then are they a child of God. Jesus called them exactly what they are without being afraid of offending them. This is what being morally correct is all about. Luke 11:52 Woe unto you lawyers! For ye have taken away the key of knowledge; ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. The beginning of knowledge is to fear, or revere, the Lord (Prov. 1:7). The lawyers were taking God and knowledge away from the people. Today, many of them would like to do the same by removing God from our vocabulary. They would remove Christ from Christians. Dont do business with the enemy! Luke 11:53 And as He said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge Him vehemently, and to provoke Him to speak of many things: Take a lesson from this. Dont allow Satan to provoke you into saying something you shouldnt. Luke 11:54 Laying wait for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, that they might accuse Him. Here, we have another proof of who Jesus was talking to. Satan is the accuser. His children, the Kenites, do the same. We like in a wonderful nation. Our founding fathers established this nation based on freedom of religion. Everyone has the right to worship as they please. But no one, and I do mean no one, has the right to tell us how we must worship. Lets continue our study in Hebrews. Our subject is being morally correct. Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the LORD; I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; v17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. During the millennium, everyone will know the Lord. Those sins you have repented of will never be brought up again. Hebrews 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. There is no need to offer for a sin that is already forgiven. Once God forgives a sin, it is gone. Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, After the crucifixion, Jesus rent the veil from top to bottom, whereby you can walk right into the holy place. Hebrews 10:20 By a new and living way which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; v21 And having an High Priest over the house of God; Jesus is that High Priest for ever under the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Christ is the pure Living Water that washes away our sins. Once we have cleansed ourselves, the sin is gone. Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful That promised;) Jesus died on the cross to make the promise of the new covenant possible. He was faithful; we should be faithful. Dont ever waver from your faith in order to be politically correct. Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Our good works should include standing up for Christ. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. A portion of a mature Christians appetite for the Word is to gain knowledge whereby we are able to help our brothers and sisters that are lost. Reach out to them! Teach them how to find the Savior and how to be morally correct. Hebrews 10:26 For if ye sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remained no more sacrifice for sins. And if Gods elect refuse the Holy Spirit to speak through them when they are delivered up, it is unforgivable. Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment, and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. V28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: v29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be through worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith He was sacrificed, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? The Spirit of grace is the Holy Spirit. How could they trod under foot the Son of God? By allowing His name to be removed from their vocabulary would be a start. Allowing their faith to become so watered down in the name of being politically correct that they are neither hot nor cold would also trod the Son of God under foot. Christ said, I will spue thee out of my mouth (Rev. 3:16). Hebrews 10:30 For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belonged unto Me, I will recompense, saith the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge His people. v31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. God owns your soul (Ezek. 18:4). It is His to do with as He chooses. Make sure you repent often. Skip down to verse 36 with me. Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. V37 For yet a little while, and He That shall come will come, and will not tarry. Christ will soon return to us. He is at the door, beloved. Make sure you dont have to explain to Him why you stood by while others trod Him under foot. Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him. V39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Dont ever allow your faith to be compromised and draw away from Christ. Dont ever sacrifice truth in order to be politically correct. Stand for Jesus Christ. He paid an awesome price. Do what is right. Be morally correct. In His Service, Arnold Murray
