ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR GRADE 14 KUCT/ACA/68/8/11 An applicant must have a PhD plus at least three (3) years teaching at the University as Senior Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow. In addition, the candidate must have published a minimum of five (5) publications in peer refereed journals since the last appointment as Senior Lecturer or two (2) University level books in the applicants area of specialization The applicant must have supervised postgraduate students at both MSc. and PhD level. In addition, the applicant must have published at least three (3) papers in peer refereed journals since last appointment as a lecturer or research fellow or one (1) University level book in applicants areas of specialization The applicant must also demonstrate ability to supervise postgraduate students. A successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, to initiate and implement research and extension projects. LECTURER GRADE 12 KUCT/ACA/70/8/11 Applicants must have either PhD in relevant field or Masters Degree, in addition to Bachelor degree plus two (2) years experience of University teaching or research experience and at least three (3) papers in refereed journals. Those pursuing PhD studies will also be considered. Successful candidates will be expected to teach, conduct research and supervise undergraduate students. ASSISTANT LECTURER GRADE 11 KUCT/ACA/71/8/11 Applicants must have a Masters degree in related area of study in addition to a Bachelor degree. In addition, applicants must have published at least one (1) publication in peer refereed journals. They should also have made considerable progress in pursuit of a relevant PhD programme.

TECHNOLOGISTS-DEPARTMENT OF NURSING SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST GRADE 8 KUCT/NAC/72/8/11 Applicants must possess Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Microbiology or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory from a recognized institution. He /she must have at least two (2) years relevant working experience in a busy research institution or an institution of higher learning. They must be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Board. TECHNOLOGIST GRADE 6 KUCT/NAC/73/8/11 Applicants must possess Diploma in Medical Laboratory from a recognized institution.  M & E of production projects; grants proposal writing; Working with SMEs and an understanding of the challenges against the growth and development of this sector will be an added advantage Successful candidates will take lead in the commercialization activities of the research outputs of the University ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (RESEARCH) GRADE 12 KUCT/NAC/87/8/11 Applicants should possess a Masters Degree in either of the following fields; Development, Economic, Statistics and other related fields. PhD in a relevant field will be an added advantage. They should have at least three (3) years of teaching /research experience in an institution of higher learning or research institution and at least one publication in refereed journal. They should also have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience as System Administrator in a university or equivalent research institution. WEBMASTER-GRADE 9 KUCT/NAC/89/8/11 Applicants should be holders of a bachelor degree or higher diploma (or its equivalent) in computer science, information technology or related field from a recognized institution. They should also have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in demonstrable skills in php asp, apache Mysql Joomia, Java, JavaScript and other scripting languages. He/she should have worked as Web developer in a large public/private institution or higher learning institution. The successful candidate will be involved in developing and updating of the Universitys Web.

E-LEARNING CONTENT MANAGER- GRADE 9 KUCT/NAC/90/8/11 Applicants must be holders of Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Film and Animation of other related field from a recognized University. He/she should be expert in moodle platform, apache sever, php, java and animation. They should have at least three (3) years working experience in a busy large private/public institution or a higher learning institution. He/she should be in a position to prepare documents for publishing, to do animation as well as video shooting and editing. The successful candidates will be expected to prepare and upload content on e-learning platform and for distance learning.
