1. Enter transaction code SQVI 2.

Give your QuickView a name like schema and click the Create button 3. From the Data source: dropdown, choose Table join

4. Enter to go into Basis mode 5. Click the Insert table icon 2nd from left (shift F1) and choose the table information table DD02T 6. Click the Insert table icon again and choose the field information table DD03M 7. Remove the proposed join between DD02T.AS4LOCAL and DD03M.FLDSTAT: right-click on the join line and choose delete link 8. Remove the proposed join between DD02T.DDTEXT and DD03M.DDTEXT: right-click on the join line and choose delete link. The remaining 2 joins are OK.

9. Click the SAP menu Back arrow to get to the list design screen 10. Click the triangle to the left of the tables youve joined to see all of their fields 11. Stretch your data fields box to the right until you can see the Data fields, List fields, Selection fields and Technical Name columns and checkboxes 12. The List fields identify the output from your QuickView and the Selection fields identify the input criteria. Shift-F5 toggles you between the technical field names and the long text field descriptions. 13. Click the following List fields: DD02T-TABNAME DD02T-DDTEXT DD03M-FIELDNAME DD03M-DDTEXT DD03M-KEYFLAG DD03M-DATATYPE DD03M-LENG DD03M-DECIMALS

14. Click the following Select fields: DD02T-TABNAME DD02T-DDLANGUAGE DD02T-DDTEXT DD03M-FIELDNAME DD03M-DDTEXT

15. Click the Sort sequence tab and choose DD02T-TABNAME and DD03M-DDTEXT as your sort fields

16. Click the Save icon 17. Click the execute icon to run (choose EN for your language). Use the Views icon and Excel in place option to send to Excel and save if you want to sort and filter, search, etc..
