The vision of the lab is to become a technological leader in producing high resolution terrain intelligence products for Defence Applications. In this endeavour, DTRL is working for development of reliable systems for characteristising terrain by employing modern techniques and systems to exploit the satellite data resources for varied applications. Eligible candidates may register by forwarding duly completed application form as per Annexure II (available at our website www.drdo.gov.in) to director@dtrl.drdo.in on or before 06.09.2011. The registered candidates can appear for a walk-in-interview at 0930 hrs on 15.09.2011 at DTRL, Metcalfe House, Delhi 110054. Traveling Allowances (TA) will NOT be admissible for the interview. Desirable: Preference shall be given to those who have: a) Qualified in CSIR/NET/UGC/GATE examination. b) Working experience in the Terrain studies/ Geoinformatics/ Geotech investigations. General Conditions: 1. Only candidates who have completed the course and awarded degree/ provisional certificate are eligible to apply. However, the candidates appearing for final year B.Tech/M.Sc are also eligible to apply and are required to submit the proof of completion of course/provisional certificate on the date of interview. The candidates may be allowed to register for Ph.D with any University/Institution during the tenure of fellowship.

Eligible candidates may register by forwarding the application form duly completed as per Annexure-II to director@dtrl.drdo.in on or before 06th Sep 2011. Application form can be download from the website www.drdo.gov.in 4. The registered candidates can appear for a walk-in-interview at 0930 hrs on 15.09.2011 at DTRL, Metcalfe House, Delhi-110054 and should carry a hard copy of the application form alongwith the testimonials. 5. Candidates will be required to produce all certificates/testimonials, community certificate, if applicable, in original during interview. They must also bring a set of attested Photocopies of all testimonials along with two recent passport size photographs (other than the one pasted on the application form) 6. The tenure of the fellowship will be initially for a period of two years and based on performance, it may be extended for 3rd and 4thyear if required. 7. The offer of fellowship does not under any circumstances confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO. 8. Candidates working in Govt. /Public sector undertaking / Autonomous bodies should produce no objection certificate to attend the interview. 9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining if selected. 10. JRFs are offered a monthly stipend of Rs. 14,000/-pm + HRA and other facilities admissible as per rules. 11. The age limit for all the above posts is maximum of 28 years as on the date of the interview. The age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates. 12. Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 15.09.2011 at DTRL, Metcalfe House, Delhi.
