The easyCONTROLS EC67 is a microprocessorbased free programmable controller designed to control various HVAC applications. Designedtocontrolequipmentsuchasrooftopunits,fancoils,heatpumps, ventilator units and terminal units, the EC67 can also be used for any lightingcontrolandpowermeasurementapplications.TheEC67usesthe LonTalk communication protocol and is LONMARK certified using the Sensorprofile(#1)foritsinputobjectsandtheActuatorprofile(#3)forits outputobjects. It is important for system integrators and installers to be able to easily understandanduseDistechControlsproductsandthisiswhyeaseofuse has been made their primaryfeature. The EC67 can be programmed by usingtheECProgrampluginthrougheitheranyLNSbasedsoftwaresuch as Distech Controls Lonwatcher, or by using a multiprotocol platform AX software supporting LONWORKS devices such as the ECNet software AX poweredbytheNiagara Framework.TheECProgrampluginisunique inthecontrolsindustrybecauseitcombinesauserfriendlyGraphicalUser Interface(GUI)withthepowerandflexibilityofacodeeditorandcompiler. DistechControlsECProgrampluginusesauniqueandsimplifiedversion of BASIC that has been developed inhouse and that is custom made to suitcontrolsrequirements.AlsoavailableforusewiththeECNetsoftware powered by the Niagara Framework, the Distech Controls Shadow Objects and Modules allow one to configure and monitor the EC67 free programmablecontroller.
