Our customer discovered a burned equipmend in the ABB starter cabinet bowthruster, and is claiming a warranty As recommended by our factory , We need ABB expertise and help to go on to look at this issue. The vessel ( Pacific Finder ) is currently at Loyang Offshore Supply Base on 20th May 2011 and will only be there for 24 hours. Claim 062, burned equipment in ABB starter cabinet bowthruster. I recommend that you contact ABB in Singapore and ask one of their technicians to attend the vessel together with your technician, because I guess we need help from ABB. Tell your technician that he must try to find out what has caused this damage in the starter cabinet. Was everything ok when the vessel left the Yard? Hello Julie Please be advised that this vessel is not being handled by myself, but Mr Asbjrn Brekke (now in copy) It is best when sending claims to just use the warranty address and then the claims will be distributed by the warranty manager to the correct case handler.
