PGDC-101: PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT Objectives: The main aim of this paper is the integration and application of the knowledge through analytical approaches developed by various disciplines. The mangers problem is to seek coordination among these special approaches and to apply the important concepts in specific situations reflecting actions. The Manager must be oriented to solve problems with management techniques tailored to the situations; yet he must develop a unified framework of thought that encompasses the total and integrated aspects of the entire organisation. PGDC -104: QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES FOR MANAGERS Objectives: To identify and define problems pertaining to business situations and quantify the problem parameters use quantitative techniques and translate them into suitable mathematical models, use computer packages to solve the models, and to interpret, analyze and study the implications of changes in problem parameters on the solution (What-If analysis).
