Thisisoneofthosetrickytopicsthatsoundsreallyeasytopassalong.It'susually summedupasafterthebodydiesthesoulisputintoanotherbody.Thereisalittlemoretoit thanthat.ThebeliefinReincarnationisthebeliefthatwearemorethanaphysicalbeing.We areSpiritualbeingsthatarehavingaphysicalexperience.Whetherthisphysicalexperienceis realandifwereturninthesameformornot,isamatterofsomedebatebetweenEastern andWesterncultures.That,however,isatotallydifferenttopic. Themajorityofreligions/spiritualbeliefsarebasedontheconceptthatbeforethe Universe,asweknowit,existedtherewasNothingorPureformlessPotential.So,let'sstart withthat.PurePotential,ANYTHINGcanbedonewiththisEnergy.Let'ssaythatthisEnergy isConscious,orratherSelfAware:IAM.ThisConsciousnessdecidedtouseIt'sPotentialto createamultilevelExistence.ThisdecisioniswhatwecommonlyrefertoasTheBigBang. Atthesource,thisEnergyremainsPureConsciousPotential.AconstantlyvibratingEnergy thatresonatesthroughoutAllThatIs.AstheEnergymovesawayfromtheSourceit's vibratoryrateslowsdown.TheslowertheEnergyisvibratingthemoresoliditappearstobe. Thesevaryinglevelsofvibrationsarewhatmakeuplight/dark,sky/land,fire/waterand heat/coldetc.LifemakesitpossibleforTheSourcetoExperienceandManipulatetheslower vibratingEnergieswithoutpullinganythingoutofbalance. AllformsLifeservetheirPurpose.Allofthecreaturesoftheworld,functiononinstinct.They knowtheirplaceintheCircleofLifeandactaccordingly.Theyworkwithinthelimitssetby theirphysicalenvironment.If,throughoverpopulationforexample,theymanagetoaltertheir environmentNaturewillcorrectitself.Newpredatorsmaycomeononthescenetohandlean overpopulationproblem,orthedevastationofthefoodsourcewilldepletetheoverpopulated species.Remember,it'sallstillthesameEnergyandit'sallstillConscious. HumansweregiventheabilitytochoosewhetherwewantedtoserveourPurposeasthe

SourceWillsusto,ortogoourownwayanddowhatwewant.ThisisourFreeWill.Asa whole,humanityhasdecidedtoignoretheSourceandalterthephysicalrealmasmuchaswe couldtosuitus.Notthatwedon'tknowanybetter.Weallhaveaconscience,thatwemayor maynotpayattentionto.Thesourceofthisconscienceisourconsciousnessorself awareness.AllofussharethesameConsciousnessthatfuelsAllofExistence.Notethe similaritiesofthewordsConsciousnessandConscience.Ignoringone'sConsciencelimits one'sexperienceofConsciousness.

Humansareinamostinterestingposition,weexistin3realmssimultaneously.We haveourSpiritorConscience,alsocalledtheInnerVoiceorHigherSelf.Thisisthesame DivineConsciousnessthatpermeatesAllofExistenceatthehighestlevelofBeing.Themid levelconsistsoftheEthericrealm.Thoughts/emotionsandtheresonanceofthephysical realm.Thisisarealmweallrespondtowhetherornotourresponsesareconscious.The sensationwefeelwhenbeingstaredatfromafar,forexample.Thisistherealmpsychic phenomenonoccurson.Thelowestrealmisthephysical,ourbodies.Thisistherealmthat mostofhumanityistaughttobelieveistheonlyonethatisrelevant.Realizationofthisfallacy requiresConscioususeofournaturaltools,thebodyandthemind.

Body
Thebodyisareceptiveandprojectivetool.Itisourmeansofeffectingthephysicalworld.The bodyhasfiveprimarysensesthatwecommonlyexperiencethatallowsustoperceivesound, flavors,physicalsensation,light,andscents.Eachofthesehasaspecificorganassociated withitears,tongue,skin,eyes,andnose.Thesixthsense,physicallyspeaking,isan awarenessofthebody'sreactiontosomethingthathasnotmadeitselfknownonthephysical

plane.ThisawarenessisontheEthericplanewherethemindcorrelatesandcrossreferences informationgiventoitbythebody.Scentsbecomesmells,soundbecomeswords,flavors becomestastes,lightbecomesshapesandcolorsandphysicalsensationbecomessmooth, rough,softetc.InthecaseofthesixthsenseachangeintheEthericrealmcausesaphysical reactionbasedonthemind'spreviousencounterswiththatchange.Forexample,being awareofthehairsonthebackofyourneckstandingup,fornoobviousreason,andknowing whatthatreactionmeans.

Mind
Themindisprimarilyaprocessor,it'swherereasoning,inference,understandingand theawarenessoftheseactivitiestakesplace.Themindhasnophysicallocationinthebody. Sciencegivesustheimpressionthatthecommunicationbetweenneuronsinthebrainwould bethemind.Myworkingtheoryis:thecommunicationbetweenneuronsinthebrainwouldbe howthemindmanifestsinthephysical.Themindmanifestsintheethericrealmas thoughts/emotionsandinthespiritualrealmasawarenessofconsciousness. Thepurposeofthemindistopresentallofthesensoryinformationreceivedbythebodyinto somekindofcoherentfashion.Sensoryinformationincludesoursensesofsensation,taste, smell,hearing,sight,understanding(mind),aswellasasenseofpleasant,unpleasant,or neutralfeelingsthataccompanyeachsensation.Webecomeawareofthesensesbeing receivedbythebodyoneatatime,similarlytohowspecialeffectsareaddedtoamovie.The speedthatallofthisinformationisprocessedandplayedbackat,makesitseemasseamless asceneinamovie.It'sthesameillusion,actually.Moviesarejustindividualframes, snapshotsofsoundandlightthathavebeeneditedforcohesion,andplayedbackatahigh

speed.Themindisfedsensoryinformationtoprocess.Howweperceiveandfeelaboutthis informationisbasedontheunderstandingofwhathasbeenpreviouslyexperienced.Those perceptionsarethenappliedtothecurrentsituationviainferenceanddefendedby rationalization.Inferenceisthereasoninginvolvedindrawingaconclusionormakingalogical judgmentonthebasisofcircumstantialevidenceandpriorconclusionsratherthanonthe basisofdirectobservation.Rationalizationistojustifyone'sactions,especiallydiscreditable actionsorbeliefs,withplausiblereasons.Theuntrainedmindusesrationalization,inference andunderstandingtopursuewhatispleasingwhileavoidingtheunpleasant. BasicSpiritualTechniquestendtorevolvearoundgettingtheSeekertoslowdownand Listen.Prayer,Meditation,andYogabeingthemostcommonmeanstopulloneoutoftheir normalmindset.Normally,themindtakesininformationfromthebodyandourselfimageis thestarofthemovieitshowsus.Inthismindset,reactionsarebasedpurelyonour perceptionofasituation,notnecessarilytheactualityofasituation.Seeingasituationfor whatitisrequiresustorealizethatwehaveaveryselfcenteredworldview,andtochangeit toonecenteredinourconscience.
