In addition to common multimedia functions this phone also provides you with a variety of value added functions like mobile tracker, ringtone shuffle, Schedule SMS etc.With this manual, you can acquire a full understanding of the usage of this phone. 1. Safety precautions and maintenance 1.1Saftey Precautions Before using your phone, please read the following important information to eliminate or reduce any possibility of causing damage and personal injury. Do not use wireless phones while driving. Switch off wireless devices in aircraft. The signal may cause interference. Using them on aircraft is illegal. Do not use mobile phones where blasting is in progress. Follow any regulations and rules strictly. Do not use mobile phones at Petrol stations. Dont use near fuel or chemicals. Do not dispose your battery or mobile in a fire. Follow any regulations or rules in hospital and health care facilities. Switch phone off near medical equipment. All wireless devices may get interference that could affect performance. The repair or installation of the device should be done at Authorized service centers Use only approved accessories and batteries. Use only in normal position. Do not expose your phone to extreme high temperatures above +60C+140F. Do not use anything static to clean your phone. Ensure the phone is turned on and in service. Enter the emergency number, then press call key. Give your location. Do not end the call until told to do so.

These safety instructions also apply to original accessories. 1.2General Precautions 1 Please turn off your phone in an airplane, hospital or areas where the phone may disturb the operation of sensitive or medical equipment. Please use your phone in accordance with the rules of the areas. 2 To prevent the disturbance of the radio wave from causing malfunction or other problems, do not use your phone around weak signal or high accuracy electronic equipment, especially otophone, pacemaker or other medical equipment, fire detector, auto-controlled door and devices. 3 Do not knock violently, shake or toss the phone; otherwise the phone may break down or cause fire. 4 Do not put the battery, phone, or the charger into a microwave oven or high tension apparatus; otherwise the phone may break down. 5 Do not use the phone in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere; otherwise the phone may break down or cause fire. 6 Do not put the phone in areas with high temperature, high humidity or with air that contains dust; otherwise the phone may break down. 7 Keep the phone out of a childs reach; otherwise the child may take it as a toy and suffers injury. 8 Do not put the phone on an uneven or unsteady table; otherwise the phone may fall off and break. 9 Do not dismantle or refit the phone; otherwise the phone may break down or cause electric leakage or other problems. 10 Do not use needle, stylus or pointed objects to press the keys; otherwise the phone may break down and malfunction. 11 Prevent the phone from nearing magnetic objects such as magnetic cards, credit cards, floppy disks. The radio wave of the phone may erase the information stored on them.

Do not expose the phone to humidity, water or other liquid; otherwise the phone may break down. To prevent traffic accident, do not use the phone when driving. Always use the battery and battery charger authorized by the manufacturer. Such products of other brands may cause leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire. Only professional personnel are allowed to assemble and repair the phone. It may be of great danger and against warranty to assemble and repair the phone without permission.

1.3 Battery Precautions 16 Do not throw the battery in fire; otherwise fire and burst may occur. 17 Do not use force when removing the battery; otherwise leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire may occur. 18 Do not short-circuit or put the battery together with metal objects like wire, needle and necklace; otherwise leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire may occur. 19 Do not dismantle or refit the battery or weld the contact points otherwise leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire may occur. 20 The liquid leaked from the battery may cause blind if entering into the human eyes. In this case, please wash the eyes with clean water immediately (do not rub the eyes) and go to hospital as soon as possible. 21 Do not use and put the phone near areas of high temperature such as fire or heaters; otherwise leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire may occur. 22 If the battery suffers heating up, discoloration or distortion during use, charging or storage, stop using it and change a new one. 23 If the liquid leaked from the battery contacts skin or clothes, it may cause burn. Wash the skin or clothes with water or go to the hospital when necessary. 24 If the battery leaks liquid or gives off bizarre odor, take it away from the

open fire; otherwise leakage, excessive heat, burst and fire may occur. Prevent the battery from humidity otherwise excessive heat, fuming and erosion may occur. 26 Do not use or place the battery under direct sunshine or near areas of high temperature such as automobiles; otherwise it may cause leakage and excessive heat as well as affect the performance of the battery and reduce its life span. 27 Do not charge the batter over 24 hours on end. 28 The battery life is limited and will be reduced after long and frequent charging. If it doesnt work after several charging, it indicates the end of its life. You need to replace it with new battery of specified model. Do not dispose of the battery with domestic garbage; instead you should dispose of it in line with the regulations. 1.4 Charger Precautions 29 Use a 220V AC power; otherwise it may cause leakage, excessive heat and damage to the phone and charger. 30 Do not short-circuit the charger; otherwise it may cause electric shock, fuming and damage to the charger. 31 Do not use the charger when the power cord is broken; otherwise it may cause fire and electric shock. 32 Do not put a container with water near the charger; otherwise water may spill out and enter into the phone to cause excessive heat, electric leakage and other problems. 33 If contacted with water or other liquid, the charger must be removed from the power socket immediately to prevent excessive heat, fire, electric shock and other problems to the charger. 34 Do not dismantle or refit the charger; otherwise injury to the human body, electric leakage and fire may occur. 35 Do not use the charger in places of high humidity such as bathroom; otherwise electric leakage, fire and other problems to the charger. 25

Do not touch the charger, power cord or power socket with a wet hand; otherwise electric shock may occur. Do not put heavy objects upon the power cord or refit it. Otherwise electric shock or fire may occur. Disconnect the charger with electric power during cleaning and maintenance. Hold the body of the charger other than the cord when disconnecting the charger with electric power; otherwise electric shock or fire may occur. If the contents of this manual are not consistent with your phone, the phone shall prevail.

In idle screen, press it to input #, long press it to switch the profile; In an editor, press it to change the input method. 2.3 Icon Descriptions Icon Description Network - Indicates signal strength (no bar indicates no signal; 4 bars indicate strongest). Battery - Indicates battery level. To log on GPRS - The icon will be displayed only when you have logged onto GPRS. MMS - Indicates you have one or more unread MMS messages. Message - Indicates you have one or more unread messages. Push message-Indicates that you have received new push message. Voicemail- Indicates voice messages that have not been heard. Missed call - Indicates there is a missed call. Call Divert - Indicates that Divert All Voice Calls is activated.

Lock- Indicates that the keypad is locked. Alarm-Indicates that the alarm clock is on. Headset-Indicates that headset profile is activated. Alert type is Ring. Vibrate Indicates that the vibrator is on. 3.Getting Started 3.1 SIM Card & T-Flash Card Before you use your phone, you must insert your SIM card. Its your key to enter into the GSM network.

To prevent the loss and damage of information stored on the SIM card, the metal area of the SIM card should not be touched and the card should be kept away from electrical and magnetic area. Once the SIM card is damaged, you are unable to enter into the GSM network. TF (T--Flash) Card is the portable memory card with large capacity for storing

music and video files, which considerably expands the storage room of the phone. *Note: The phone must be turned off before you remove the SIM/ TF card. Its prohibited to insert or remove the SIM/ TF card when the phone is in connection with an external power supply; otherwise the SIM/ TF card may be damaged. 3.2 Battery 50% of the battery power is charged initially and can be used after unpacking. The new battery needs to be charged for at least 14 hours. After the power is used up (with no power to turn the phone on) for the first time, charge the battery fully. For the second time, charge the battery fully again after the power is used up. Installing and Removing the Battery Remove the battery in the following way: 1. Remove the battery cover by sliding it. 2. Uplift the battery from the backside and take it out.

Install the battery in the following way: 1. Lock the battery into the battery slot. 2. Push the back cover upward until it is locked firmly. Charging the Battery Plug the charger into a power socket. Power is on when the power indictor light is ON

*Note: Do NOT remove the battery when the battery is charging. Insert the connector of the charger into the port on the top side of the phone. The battery symbol appeared at the top right corner indicates the state of charging. If the phone is turned off during charging, a charging indication picture will be shown instead signifying that charging is in progress. If the phone is in low battery and still being used, it may take a while for the charging icon to appear on the screen after charging is started. When the charging bars are full and steady, it means charging is complete. If the phone is turn off during charging, a charging indication picture will be shown instead signifying that charging is complete. The process usually takes 3~4 hours. It is normal that the battery, phone and charger may generate some heat during charging. When charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the phone and electric power. *Note: - The battery must be charged with the charger supplied by the manufacturer in a ventilated place with a temperature between 5 and 40. The use of unapproved charger may cause danger and will invalidate the warranty. - Charge the battery when the phone is turned off automatically or displays the warning of low battery. If the complete battery is not used up, the charging time will be shortened. - The standby time and talk time provided by the manufacturer is calculated in the ideal environment. The actual time may vary with the network condition, working condition and running mode. - Make sure that the battery is well installed and can not be removed during charging. - When charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the phone and electric power. - If the charger has not been disconnected from the phone and electric power, charging will start again after a certain amount of battery power is used in a period of 5~8 hours. This is not advised due to the fact that doing so may

have some adverse impact on the life of the battery. 3.3 Data Cable connectivity Connect the data Cable when the phone is turned off. The charging icon is displayed on the screen, which indicates that the phone is off and being charged. Connect the data Cable when the phone is turned on. Menus are displayed on the screen. Storage Unit: in the storage mode, contents of the phone can be accessed by the computer. Charging (Com Port): use the charging function only. The phone returns to standby, and the other functions are still available. 3.4 Power on/off the phone Press and hold the End Key to turn the phone on or off. If the phone is turned on without a SIM card, the message of inserting the SIM card will be shown. The SIM card will be checked out after being inserted. Then the following information will be shown on the screen: Enter PIN1 (if you have set a password for the SIM card), Enter password of the mobile phone (if you have set a password for unlocking the phone). After the SIM card is detected successfully, your phone will search for an available network (displayed on the screen). Once the connection is made, the icon of the network supplier will appear in the center of the screen. Now the phone is in standby and ready to use. *Note: if Emergency number appears, it means you are out of the service area of the network. However, you can still make emergency calls according to the signal strength of your phone. 4.Basic operations 4.1 Making Calls 1. Enter the phone number (with the area code) 2. Press the SIM1/SIM2 Call Key to make a call.

3. Press the End Key to end a call. Making International Calls 1. Press the + Key for the international prefix symbol +. 2. Enter the country code, area code and phone number. 3. Press the Call Key to make a call. Delete Press the right soft key to delete the last character on the screen. Hold the right soft key will clear the complete data entered. Making a call from the Contacts 1. Press the right soft key to access the contacts. 2. Scroll the Up/down key to select the number you want, and press the Call Key to call the number. Last Number Redial 1. In the standby mode, press the Call Key to access the Call Logs. 2. Press the Up/Down key to reach the desired number or name and press the Call Key. Speed Dialing You can save 8 Speed Dial Numbers you often dial to positions titled with number keys from 2 to 9 respectively. Select Settings submenu> Call settings >Advance settings > Speed dial > Set Number, and then set Status on. In the standby mode, press and hold the number key to dial the corresponding number. Adjusting the Sound Volume During a call, you can press the up/down Key to adjust the earpiece volume. 4.2 Answering Calls 1. To answer an incoming call, press the Calling Keys. 2. To end or reject an incoming/ongoing call, press the End Key. Tip: If the caller can be identified, the screen will display the callers name. If the caller cant be identified, the screen will only display the callers number.

4.3 Options in Call Your phone provides a number of functions that you can use during a call. During a call, you can access Hold/End single call, New Call, Phonebook, Messages, Beetel Sound Recorder, Background sound, Mute, DTMF and other functions. 5.Menu Details 5.1 Contacts Add new contact by selecting the Add new contact option - Select: choose the storage of the new entry to add. *Note: input the required information which depends on the storage format. Options Enter into the browse screen of the phonebook. You can enter corresponding information in the searching column below to sort the entries out. Modes of searching include: 1. English (lower case); 2. number. Press the # Key to switch among input methods. - View: check the details of entry - Backup to T card: back up contacts to the memory card. - Send text message: send message to the number - Send multimedia message: send multimedia message to the number - Call: dial the number - Edit: edit the entry - Delete: delete the entry - Copy: copy the entry - Move: move the entry - Send contact: send the vCard 1. As text message : send the entry via text message 2. As multimedia message: send the entry via multimedia message 3. Via Bluetooth: send the entry via Bluetooth. - Add to blacklistAdd the number to the blacklist. - Mark severalMark several contacts to delete or send text message.

- Caller groups: Calls Groups: the phone is programmed with 25 caller groups. You can make individual setting for each group, such as rename, ring type, incoming call picture, incoming call film and each group members personal setting. - Copy contacts: copy all the entries from the phone to the card; copy all the entries form the card to the phone, or copy all the entries form the card1 to card 2; - Move contacts: move all the entries from the phone to the card; move all the entries form the card to the phone, or move all the entries form the card1 to card 2; - Delete all contacts: select the items to delete the call record. Select to delete all the call record from SIM. Select to delete all the call record from the phonebook. - Phonebook settings 1. Preferred storage: choose the preferred storage location, the phone or the SIM card or all 2. My number: edit and save the detailed information of the user. 3. Phonebook Backup: backup contacts to T-flash card. 4. Phonebook restore: read the T-flash card contacts to phone. 5. VCard version: set the content of the entries in the phonebook. 6. Extra Numbers: Other numbers such as the SIM card owner number and service dialing number. You can check and edit other numbers stored on the SIM card. * Note: service number need the support of SIM card. 7. Memory status: check the memory of the SIM cards and the phone. - Print when you use the function, please open the Bluetooth fist, then you can print the contact from the Bluetooth 5.2 Messages SMS Write message Enter in to write message. You can enter short message

- Enter the message and select Options. - Send to: to send the message, select to get into recipients and you can enter the phone number or look from the phonebook and select the receivers phone number. Enter confirm to send. - Input method: change the input method. - Insert template: add the text template into the content. - Insert smiley: add the emoticons to the content. - Insert object: add pictures, ring tones, cartoons and default music to the content. - Insert number: add phone numbers to the content. - Insert name: add a name from the phonebook to the content. - Insert bookmark: add a website address to the content. - Text format: define the text editing format - Save to drafts: save current message to draft box. *Note: some of the cities and district message centers do not support message over than 160 English characters. Inbox Select the SIM1 Inbox or the SIM2 Inbox. Check the received messages. When the Inbox message list appears, press Ok to read the message. You can choose the following options View: to read the message Reply: reply to the sender of the message. Call sender: call the sender of the message. Forward: forward or resend the same message - Delete: delete the message. - Delete All: delete all the messages in the inbox - Advanced 1. Use Number: dial or store in the phonebook the number extracted from the message. 2. Use URL: Extract and store the web link contained in the message. 3. Use USSD: Extract and store the network order contained in the message. 4. Copy to SIM card (Phone): copy the message from the phone to the SIM card,

or vice versa. 5. Move to SIM (Phone): move the message from the phone to the SIM card, or vice versa. 6. Copy all: copy all the messages from SIM card to the phone or from the phone to SIM card. 7. Move all: move all the messages from SIM card to the phone or from the phone to SIM card. Outbox Can select the SIM1 outbox or the SIM2 outbox to check the un-sent message. When checking the Outbox message list, press OK to read the message. You can choose the following options: -Send from SIM1, Send from SIM2, Edit, Delete, Copy to SIM Card (Copy to Phone), Move to SIM Card (Move to Phone), Delete All, Copy All, Move All, Use Number, Use URL, Use USSD Drafts Store the text message not intended to send. Templates Frequently used sentences could be saved here to avoid rewriting it during message editing. It is editable and could be deleted SMS settings SMS settings: You can change the settings for each SIM card. *Note: This function requires the support of the network supplier. SMS Black List Black list includes all the numbers that will be rejected automatically. 1. Mode: ON or OFF blacklist function. 2. Blacklist numbers: enter phone numbers to set as blacklist number. Before using message function, you need to do necessary settings. - Profile settings: set a proper mode for mobile message. Enter into each mode to find the matching name, message centre number, validate time, sending profile setting.

Common settings: activate Reports, Reply Path, Save & Sent and SMS seen as divided (SIM1/SIM2) or Mixed. - Memory status: check the available space in SIM card or mobile message box. - Preferred storage: choose to save in Phone or SIM card Memory. *Note: This function requires the support of the network supplier. SMS BackupBack up messages to the memory card. MMS Multimedia messages contain text, picture and sound. Through MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), you can not only send or receive pictures and texts, but also receive audio files attached to messages. The phone supports multimedia messages with multiple pages, i.e. each page consists of one picture, one piece of music and text. A multimedia message contains several such pages. Size of pictures in the multimedia messages will be automatically adjusted to the screen of the phone. * Note: This function requires the support of the network supplier. Please consult your network operator to obtain the MMS service. Write message While writing messages, you can select To, Cc, Bcc, Subject or Edit content. - To: the phone number or E-mail address. - Cc: send the MMS to others at the same time on Phone numbers or E-mail addresses. - Bcc: send the MMS to others confidentially at the same time on Phone numbers or E-mail addresses. - Subject: edit the Subject of the MMS. - Edit content: enter the text or add image, audio, attachment etc. Inbox The phone saves the received MMS into the inbox. All received Messages are stored in the inbox. The icon means the MMS is unread. Use the Down/Up key to scroll the cursor to check the list, the sender's name and number will display. If the MMS has been read, the icon will change

to the read icon. Please press the left soft key to access Options, and then you can do: View, Delete, Delete all, and so on. Outbox: stores the multimedia messages sent unsuccessfully. Drafts: stores the multimedia messages not intended to send. Templates Frequently used sentences could be saved here to avoid rewrite it during message editing. It is editable and could be deleted. MMS Settings Set the parameters of sending and receiving the multimedia message. *Note: MMS settings needs to set according to the local network suppliers standard, such as linking type select as WAP or HTTP. Broadcast message Functions of receiving and reading the messages of Broadcast message are as follows: - Receive Mode: on/off the receiving of cell broadcast message. - Read Message: read the Broadcast messages you subscribe to. - Languages: set the language of cell broadcast. - Channel Settings: set the channel of Broadcast message, including the selection, add, edit and delete. - Templates: frequent used sentences could be saved here to avoid rewrite it during message editing. It is editable and could be deleted. Voicemail server Functions of the voice mailbox are as follows: - Edit: you can set the name and phone number. - Call voicemail: dial the voice mailbox you set to listen to the voice message. Scheduled SMS: Set the text content and the appointed time, the system will automatically send out the message to the pre-defined number... 5.3 Call Logs You can select SIM1 call history, or SIM2 call history, the menus are as follows: All calls, Dialled Calls, Received Calls, Missed Calls In the list of Logs, press Ok to check the detail of the entry, such as the date, time, name (if recorded in the phonebook) number and times of calling.

In the list of Logs, press Option for the following operations: - View ,Call, Send text message, Send multimedia message, Save to phonebook, Add to Blacklist, Edit before call, Delete, Delete all; - Sim1Call timers: Four sub-menus are provided in Call timers: Last Call, Dialed Calls, Received Calls and Reset All - Call costThe Call Meters can keep the record of your total call charge, Last call charge. You can reset call charges and also you can set maximum charge. *Note: Some operations require the PIN2 code; please contact your network supplier for it. *Note: Network support is needed. - Text message Counter: Record the number of sent and received messages. Press the Left Soft Key of reset to clear the above two items. - GPRS counter 1. Last Sent, Last received, All sent , All received, Reset counter 5.4 Settings Dual SIM switch -Select with SIM status: If this option is selected, the phone will prompt the SIM options while switching ON. -Use default mode: The phone will not prompt for SIM options if this is selected. Dual SIM settings Dual SIM open: open the dual SIM Only SIM open: only open the SIM1 Only SIM open: only open the SIM2 Flight mode: close the network, open flight mode. Phone Settings Time and Date - Set home city: Select your home city. - Set time/date: Set the time and date for the phone. - Set format: Select the time and date format, and the date separator. - Update with time zone: Update the date and time from network

automatically. Schedule power on/off: set the time when the phone is turned on and off automatically. Language: set the language for the menu Preferred input methods: select a default input method. Display Settings: - Wallpaper: select the wallpaper for standby. - Screen saver: select a screen saver for standby and set the waiting time. - Power on display: select the phone turn-ON animation . - Power off display: select the phone turn-OFF animation. - Show date and time: To show date and time on the standby screen or not - Show owner number: To show SIM1/SIM2 owner number on the standby screen or not. - Smart Desktop: To enable/disable desktop icons. - Shuffle Setting: Enable/disable to change the wallpaper/ringtones. Themes: Select the desired theme.. Greeting text: - Status: whether to show greeting text or not - Greeting text: edit power on greeting text Dedicated key: Customize the functions for the four directional key Auto update of data and time: on/off the auto update of data and time. UART settings: select SIM1 or SIM2. Misc. settings: - LCD BacklightSet mobile LCD backlight brightness and time (sec). Call Settings You can select SIM1 call settings or SIM2 call settings. The sub menus are as follows: SIM1 Call settings 1Caller ID Set by network: set caller id according to the network service.

Hide ID: the receiver on other side will not see your phone number during the call. (Require the support of the network supplier.) Send ID: receiver on other side will see your phone number during the call. (Require the support of the network supplier.) 2Call waiting: You can activate this feature incase you want to be notified whenever there is a new incoming call while you already have another call in progress. 3Call divert: Divert all voice calls: Divert incoming calls to another number unconditionally.
