ASSISTANT

ART GOLD MAGHREB

The candidate:
- To know GOLD philosophy and operative instruments by reading the available documents and through
specific training that will be held by the GOLD-Libya responsible international staff.
- To participate in meetings with the national and local authorities and international partners, with the
specific task of writing reports and provide translation, if needed.
- To visit the GOLD pilot regions and support International and Local staff in building and training of local
working groups.
- To help with the translation of documents produced by the pilot regions working groups and/or by local
communities (Arabic-English, Arabic-Italian, and vice versa) in European countries.
- To support GOLD International and Local staff in maintaining relations and contacts with local, national
and international partners.
- To accomplish any other task given by direct supervisor.
Candidate’s Profile: - Good knowledge of the UN environment and of the country
- Good attitude to work in a team and to meet dead-lines
- Working knowledge of Arabic and English
- Computer literacy
- Good skills in public and personal relations
- Availability to travel in and out of the country
Candidate’s Background: - Graduate or post graduate in economic or social subjects
- Language Certificate is preferred
- Knowledge of International cooperation and, if possible, experience in local human development
projects
- Not more than 35 years old
