Security Information
CES provides 24-hour hall and perimeter security to ensure as secure an environment
as possible for exhibitors. Every reasonable effort is made to prevent losses. However,
the exhibit floor is not completely secure and it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to take
measures to avoid theft. It is strongly recommended that you hire guards and security
cages to protect your displays and product at all times until your outbound shipment is
physically picked up.

Hiring Booth Security
Exhibitors have three (3) options for hiring booth security at CES:
Option #1: Any of the companies below can be hired to provide security guards in your
booth. You do not have to hire the company that is providing perimeter security for your
particular hall:
• Pro-Tect Security will provide perimeter security around the LVCC North and
Central Halls.
• SOA will provide perimeter security around the LVCC South Halls and Las Vegas
Hilton.
• COP Security will provide perimeter security around Sands/Venetian

Display Product Delivery Information
Display product may arrive any time after your official target move in date, however, for
security purposes we strongly recommend delaying delivery to your booth until
Thursday, January 3, 2008. Although perimeter security is provided, exhibitors should
order their own booth security in case product needs to be delivered prior to this date.
CES is not responsible for any theft of property. Please review the section of your
exhibit space contract entitled Responsibility for Property. The Consumer Electronics
Association and its employees or contractors assume no liability for loss or injury due to
theft, fire, accident, or any other destructive causes. We strongly suggest that you obtain
a rider to your existing insurance policy to protect your booth/product from the time it
leaves your warehouse to the time it returns. Contact your insurance agent for details.
For added security, you may order a locking security cage from GES. For more
information or to order a cage, please call (800) 475-2098.
Should you experience a theft or security incident on-site, immediately proceed to the
CES Security Office in LVCC rooms C-105 or S-219 or Sands room 101, lower level to
file a report. This is for documentation purposes only and is different than an insurance
claim. Claims must be filed with your insurance provider, not GES or CES.
