Required required updates are critical to proper operation and must be installed to proceed with item scanning. 2. Optional optional updates will need to be installed to insure proper operation, but are not critical. Optional updates can be delayed for up to two (2) weeks, at which point they must be installed before item scanning can resume. Note: Depending on how Internet Explorer is configured, the Scanner Control Manager ActiveX Security Warning dialog may display. If prompted to install the Scanner Control Manager ActiveX component, click Install (Windows Vista or XP).

Note: In order to minimize the level of user interaction, you can select the Always trust content from RDM Corporation option to hide future Security Warning dialogs from RDM Corporation (RDM is a third-party service provider for U.S. Bank). When you select this option, you are not notified when the scanner drivers download to the local system. 3. You are notified when the Scanner Control Manager ActiveX component installation is about to begin. Disconnect the scanner and click Yes to continue. ActiveX components are downloaded and installed on the item workstation.

The device drivers are bundled with the Scanner Control Manager ActiveX Control download. 4. ActiveX components are downloaded and installed on the item workstation. 5. Click OK when you are notified that the Scanner Control Manager ActiveX component has been successfully installed.
