SMART Technologies’ ‘SynchronEyes’ learning and management at the

Scottish Learning Festival 2008

14th August 2008: On stand G28 at the Scottish Learning Festival, pioneer and leading
manufacturer of interactive whiteboards, SMART Technologies will be meeting with a number of
local authorities and giving away one complimentary class license of SynchronEyes™ classroom
management software to each local authority.

The festival, running from 24 and 25 September, SECC and Clyde Auditorium Glasgow, attracts
teachers and local authority representatives who are looking for the latest technologies to support
learning.

Developed to give teachers the flexibility to guide their students in technology-enriched learning
environments where a variety of computing devices may be present, SyncronEyes™ classroom
management software keeps students focused on the task in hand. SyncronEyes is particularly
helpful for classes using a mixture of technologies including desktop computers, wireless laptops
or mobile devices, as teachers are able to instruct, monitor and assess students in networked
classrooms.

SynchronEyes allows teachers to incorporate ICT into lessons whilst maximising teaching time,

and giving pupils more time to learn. Teachers can observe pupils’ screens from their desktop,

offer personalised support as well as distributing and collecting in work and resources.

Local authorities are invited to schedule a demonstration with the SMART Technologies team to
discover the learning benefits SynchronEyes offers to schools and in return will receive a
complimentary copy of the software*.

Local authority representatives should email edc@steljes.co.uk with your name, organisation, job
function and the time that you wish to attend.
