The total amount that Mr. Frew is responsible for: Mr. Frew's Monthly Salary: $4150 / month Required Notice Days: 21 days Virginia's Minimum Wage: $7.25 / hour Regular work hours per work day: 8 hours To back track the 21 days notice, Mr. Frew should serve his resignation notice on August 17, 2011. From August 17 - September 6, 2011, there were 15 work days and that should be calculated under minimum wage: 15 work days X $7.25 / hour X 8 hours = $870.00 Yet, Mr. Frew was (over)paid the following amount for work during the August 17 September 6, 2011 timeframe: $1902.08 Therefore, Mr. Frew is responsible to reimburse the overpayment to the employer, HopOne Internet Corporation, due to breach of contract. The following amount is due $1902.08 - $870.00 = $1032.08
