1.

Human beings, as the most advanced beings on earth, require a longer period of time than other animals to develop all their functions and mental capacities. 2. The genetic code from the sperm cell (which is also present in the egg cell) is the precious cargo as it is the determinant of the fetus features, traits, IQ, and other things that make it human and determine how it will live its life. 3. There is an increase in blood volume by 50%, an enlargement of some physical aspects, secretion of hormones, as well as presence of morning sickness. 4. The nerve cells are the first to form, which later on develop into and along with the brain and spinal cord. Though at first the signals these send cause involuntary action, these are responsible for the fetus motor skills, mental skills, sensory skills as well as other skills that allow a human to live. 5. One can assume that some fetuses are the anxious/feisty type or easily startled when they begin to move around a lot, as well as assume that the fetus will be gentle if its movements are infrequent. Fetuses do the stepping reflex where they step on the floor of the womb, as well as the startle reflex, when they fling their hands or legs when reacting to an alarming sound. 6. Dreaming, playing with its nose, eating, swallowing, moving around and kicking. 7. The placenta protects the fetus, provides it with nutrients from the food the mother consumes, and also filters the fluid surrounding the fetus, clearing it from things that may harm said fetus. Also, the umbilical cord is a vital lifeline, as it connects the fetus to the placenta. 8. From ultrasound scanners, one can see how a fetus reacts when it hears sound (e.g. mothers voice). It can either change the expression on its face, or move its arms and legs when reacting. 9. It is dangerous because, aside from the fact that the fetus will be subjected to an area much smaller than the womb, there is a high chance for the fetus to be put in a compromising position such as when it may be strangled by the umbilical cord. Also there is a high risk of death for the mother as well because of the excruciating pains of labor. From the moment the egg gets fertilized, it already means that a mother has two lives to worry about and take care of in her body. The idea that there is a vulnerable being that is completely dependent on you may cause a lot of stress on the person, especially if said person is aware of all the risks. 10. The first cry a baby lets out is also the first time air enters its body, which signifies that the babys bodily functions and life systems are already working. This is the point where the cord, its life support in the womb, can be cut, which shows that it is ready for life. 11. Crying and muscle movement are reflexes in newborns that show us its basic functions are already in working order. A baby curling its fingers after you stroke its palm, for example, tells us that its sense of touch is functional. Also its instinct to cry in moments where it is scared will serve as a way for it to instinctively avoid danger. 12. A mothers womb provides everything for the baby to ensure nourishment and growth, without the fetus having to do anything in return. Not only is the baby given food and protection, but also the mothers love whose bond strengthens as the fetus becomes more familiar with its mothers voice. 13. The very fact that human life is created from microscopic particles that had undergone a million of very detailed processes is a miracle on its own. From a sperm and an egg cell, genetic codes, nerve cells, and many other essentials in a combination that cannot be reproduced, a being capable of memory, intellect and so much more, is born.
