Total number of Golf courses and Club in India that provide Golf services (Including country clubs)= 400

Per golf session, golf balls used

=5

Sessions per month times golf balls usage (4x5) 20

Average number of golf balls used in all clubs over India 20 * 400 = 8000 Total annual demand of golf balls = 8000 * 12 = 96,000

2. Daily turnover of HYPERCITY Retail

Average number of footfalls in a day =200

Number of Hypercity stores all across India = 26

Average spend per customer in any hypercity store = Rs. 500

Turnover per day = 200 * 26 * 500 = Rs. 26,00,000

Turnover per day per store = Rs. 1,00,000

3. Average lifetime revenue to Vodafone from a subscriber

Assuming a user purchases a Vodafone Connection at age of 13 years Every month he or she will spend Rs. 300 on an average till the age of say, 23. Therefore, 11 years times Rs. 300 times 12 months = Rs. 39600

After 23, lets assume they start spending Rs. 800 per month till the age of 60 years Thus, 37 years times Rs. 800 times 12 months = Rs. 3,55,200

Till 70 years, (average life expectancy) they spend say Rs. 400 per month Now, 10 years times Rs. 400 times 12 months = Rs. 48000

Totalling all three age segmentation expenditures = Rs. 4,42,800 (provided he sticks to Vodafone as his/her service provider)

There are 2 types of seats in PVR 1. Prime 2. Star

Average cost of single ticket (Prime) = Rs. 300 No. Of Prime Seats = 72 Assuming 5 movies are being screened on weekend and each movie is run in 8 shows Therefore, Total revenue from one day (assuming 100% occupancy) = 40 * 300 * 72 = Rs. 8,64,000 96 Saturdays & Sundays in an year So, 864000 * 96 = Rs. 8,29,44,000 over the year on weekends for Prime type of seats

Average cost of single ticket (Star) = Rs. 180 No. Of Star seats = 240 Assuming 5 movies are being screened on weekend and each movie is run in 8 shows Therefore, Total revenue from one day (assuming 100% occupancy) = 40 * 180 * 240 = Rs. 17,28,000

96 Saturdays & Sundays in year = 96 * 17,28,000 = Rs. 16,58,88,000 over the year on weekends for star seats Therefore, Total revenue of PVR on weekends Revenue from PRIME seats = Rs. 8,29,44,000 Revenue from STAR seats = Rs. 16,58,88,000 Total Revenue = Rs 24,88,32,000

5. Average monthly sales of Filmfare magazines in Mumbai

Out of total population of India, total of SEC A and SEC B concentration = 105 million 59% of which of which read books and magazines =6.19 crores
