THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PAKISTAN CRICKET TEAM [IN PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE]

As we know that Pakistan is a nation of 18 billion{18 crore} people & most of them like cricket. Although Cricket is not the national game of Pakistan but it has been loved, follow & played by most people as compare to our national game Hockey. The reasons why cricket is played & loved more by the people of Pakistan has several reasons: First, Pakistan Cricket Team is one of the best teams in the world Second, Pakistan has produce some of the very best cricketers of the world Third, a player of Cricket becomes star very quickly as compare to the Hockey player or any other sport in Pakistan Fourth, there is more money involved in Cricket. The Cricket players get a high salary as well as other income like working in advertisements, giving interviews, become brand ambassadors of multi-national products & playing in different league tournaments all around the world. Talking about some of the past performances of Pakistan that Pakistan has always produced great cricketers of the world. Players like ABDUL HAFEEZ KARDAAR, HANIF MOHAMMMAD, FAZAL MAHMOOD, JALAL UDDIN.MAJID KHAN, IMRAN KHAN, JAVED MIANDAD, WASIM AKRAM, WAQAR YOUNUS & SAEED ANWER were played for Pakistan and make people of Pakistan and their country Pakistan proud on themselves. Now I would like to talk about the problems that Pakistan Cricket has faced over the years. Many Pakistani cricketers involved in illegal things both on & off the field. Issues like ball

tampering, match fixing, spot fixing, disciplinary issues, fight among players and group making is quiet common in Pakistan Cricket Team. Another important problem with the Pakistan team is that they dont have a regular captain. If you see in the last 4 years Pakistan has changed so many captains. From SHOAIB MALIK to YOUNUS KHAN and then MOHAMMAD YOUSUF and SALMAN BUTT and SHAHID AFRIDI to MISBAH UL HAQ.Pakistan have tried 6 captains from 2007 to 2011 unlike Australia who has only 4 captains in 20 years. The good news for Pakistan is that good talent is still available. Players like ASAD SHAFIQ, SARFARAZ AHMED, SHAHZEB HASAN, AIZAZ CHEEMA, SOHAIL KHAN, YASIR SHAH, HAMMAD AZAM & UMAR AKMAL are the future stars of Pakistan Pakistan has not only produce the best cricketers of the world but also produce some of the best umpires as well. Pakistan has 3 umpires in the ICC ALLETTE PANEL OF UMPIRES unlike our neighbours India who has no umpire in the ALLETE PANEL.
