Overall Purpose of the Job:

To provide engineering and technical support to the Well Testing & Commissioning operation. This will include customizing, sizing, configuring, preparation, and maintenance of well test equipment to permit safe use offshore. As a field engineer they will participate as a member of our offshore service team to gain thorough knowledge and understanding of well test systems, practices and procedures. Principal Accountabilities:

Goal 1) Contribute to the HSE culture

Objective Participate in behavioural safety-program at base and office facilities. Participate in JSAs and HAZOPs Report any injuries or spills to management Complete all CAPP Regulated Training required to work offshore Gain hands on technical knowledge required to support well test operations. Complete DAS Training Perform required engineering support including; calculations, modelling, P&IDs, Layouts, Flaresims, etc Provide technical support for repair and maintenance of equipment. Assist in assembly of a new package for any new projects Liaise with local certifying agents, providing compliance documentation for applicable local and industry regulations. Assist in review of tender and preparation of technical documentation in response to it. Participate in required customer meetings and industry social events.

Participate in offshore job as a member of Expros Service Team Familiarity with Expro process specifications, industry regulations, and fabrication codes. Submit requisitions for items required to Equipment certification from local certifying agents (i.e. Inspection Release Notes) Prepare technical response to tender. Develop customer contacts

The job requires innovative solutions and a degree of autonomy Well Test Operations are conducted in an isolated region with stringent rules, comparable to North Sea Operations. For this position, the following training, experience and/or skills are preferred: o Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering o Previous offshore experience would be an asset o Working knowledge of fluid dynamics o Familiarity with AutoCAD o Possession of the current CAPP recognized training would be beneficial (including BST with HUEFA, First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Arrest) as required for working offshore Eastern Canada. The Operations will be carried out under a stringent set of rules, comparable to a North-Sea operation and continuous vigilance is mandatory not to let these standards slide. Prior work experience in East coast Canada or similar cold areas is a huge benefit. Compulsory reading: Well Test Operational Guidelines, Technical Bulletins, Process Specification and relevant industry specifications/codes. Continuous dialogue with field service personnel and operations management

Report any hazardous defects in plant, equipment and workplace, or shortcomings in the existing controls, to a responsible person without delay. Responsibilities of Managers and Supervisors The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the HSE Management System is implemented within the operations under their control. The incumbent must actively monitor the workplace to ensure that acceptable standards are maintained. Where risks are identified the incumbent must ensure that these risks are controlled, so far as is reasonably practicable. The incumbents duties include: a) b) c) d) e) f) Ensuring that employees, contractors and visitors are aware of relevant HSE procedures Establishing that all equipment, plant and substances used are suitable used for the task and are kept in good working conditions: this includes the regular maintenance and servicing of equipment Providing adequate training, information, instruction and supervision to ensure that work is conducted without harm to people or the environment. Taking immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to people or the environmental arising from work activity. Bringing to the prompt attention of senior management any HSE issues that requires their attention. Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded and reported and that an investigation is carried out to establish and rectify root causes.

Providing technical support to all aspects of the Well Test Business. Liaising with 3 Party Certifying Agent on behalf of local management. Have close contact with field staff and Office staff. Endeavour to continually gain more technical knowledge to provide more informative engineering support.
