Dear Editor in Chief,
Next controversial topics being discussed by the controversial teacher with
scholars of different moderate/balanced religion/group being retrieved by an
artificial intelligence is: g) traditions-custom, superstition vs. simple, practical
things first. The controversial teacher explained: Perhaps bias traditions tilting
towards superiority, conceit, self-righteous, boasting, superstition; or examples of
precepts of men or beliefs or traditions that divert the focus of the curious mind
away from the universal moderate/balanced Word might be: girl circumcisions,
betrothal, excessive fiestas, religious procession of an icon prone to be touched by
men believing that by touching the icon he/they could be healed of his/their
sicknesses and being tolerated by religious leaders during feast days that often
times result to drunkenness, stampede-extreme; and suffering rituals-human nailing
at the cross, self-inflicting or self-whipping, superstition, too much time: in TV, in
sports arena, in gambling hall, etc. But if the curious mind is trained to develop
small things first connected to good moral and right conduct or ethics, good ethics
about business oriented things first perhaps chaos could be lessened. Or Mark 7:13:
Quote: In this way the teaching you pass on to others cancels out the word of God.
vs. John 21:25: Now, there are many other things that Jesus did. If they were all
written down one by one, I suppose that the whole world could not hold the books
that would be written. Unquote. Perhaps the bottom line is practicality, economy,
right investing vs. boasting; boosting conceitedness, superiority. Did the feast day
follow the teachings of the parable of the good servant: Matthew 25:28-29: Quote:
Now, take the money away from him and give it to the one who has ten thousand
coins. For to every person who has something, even more will be given, and he
will have more than enough; but the person who has nothing, even the little that he
has will be taken away from him. Unquote. Perhaps excessive fiestas are magnet to
let poor people become more poorer; or be mislead that celebrating feast days with
lavish food & drinks even borrowing money just to show to others how blessed he
is ...is perhaps boastful, waste of money. The money could have been used as
capital for small business.
I think girl circumcision; betrothal is violation of the dignity of a girl. An
excessive feast day violates thriftiness; drunkenness on feast days perhaps violates
moderation. Thriftiness with right motivation could enhance savings, capitalism,
business oriented mind setting. Public procession of icons, idols perhaps distracts
the smooth flow of traffic and could be a drawback against stiff competition on
business oriented mind setting. Perhaps suffering-rituals project to ordinary people
about messianic complex, submissiveness, withdrawn type, self-pitying type that
diverts the curious mind not to touch first practical things. Perhaps superstition like
bad omen, bad luck could divert the focus of the curious mind not to trust the word
of God; instead on “prophesy” of men. Perhaps the battle would go down to:
moderate/balanced/thrifty feast day; or less feast days vs. more feast days that are
boastful, extravagance. Better remove too many feast days rather concentrate first
on “birthdays of children”, “Christmas,” “New Year,” “Thank giving days,”
“Easter Sunday”, “and another special day” for all year round; or just six times in a
year-a perhaps moderate/balanced limits of number of feast days. Sometimes I
heard a parent say to a child wanting to celebrate his 6th birthday, my boy don’t be
sad, just sacrifice... because it’s shameful to others if we would not share our
blessings on feast days. So the child did not celebrate his 6th birthday to give way
for any visitor to enter the house during fiestas for thanks giving of all the
blessings.
Between prophesies: the bottom line is: Prophesies about Jesus coming-balanced
vs. prophesies about future events to boost having supernatural phenomena to
enhance superiority, fame, and wealth -conceit.
Next controversial topic is: h) example: stigmata or mysterious wounds vs.
private miracle or vs. public miracles like idol icons with blood, tears, water, oil
flowing vs. no miracle. Quote: Mark 9:39: “...because no one who performs a
miracle in my name will be able soon afterward to say evil things about me.” Acts
19:11-12: God was performing unusual miracles through Paul. Even handkerchiefs
and aprons he had used were taken to the sick, and their diseases were driven away,
and the evil spirit would go out of them. Matthew 16:18:... I will give you the keys
of the kingdom of heaven; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven,
and what you permit on earth (opinion: example: “proclaimed public holy miracle
or holy model”) will be permitted in heaven. vs. Mark 13:22: For false Messiah
and false prophets will appear. They will perform miracles and wonders in order to
deceive even God’s chosen people. Be on your guard! 1 Corinthians 1:22-25: Jews
want miracles for proof, and Greeks look for wisdom. As for us, we proclaim the
crucified Christ, a message that is offensive to the Jews and nonsense to the
Gentiles; but for those whom God has called, both Jews and Gentiles, this message
is Christ, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. For what seems to be
God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and what seems to be God’s
weakness is stronger than human strength. Unquote. Perhaps balanced/moderate
religion should refrain from too much giving weigh to public miracles so that
ordinary curious mind would focus on the word or Christ rather than on the
wonders that could let other groups be distinct because other groups don’t give
much attention to wonders instead to just personal miracle or healing because of
faith. Or perhaps if there is genuine miracle, the genuine miracle would remind the
curious mind of the danger of too much focus on wonders because words on 1
Corinthians 1:22-25 centered and focused to just Christ; miracle and wisdom are
not very important rather it could even cause divisions rather focus only on love
teaching-Christ-regardless of religious affiliation.
Next controversial thing is i): Conscience, soul is just an invention, vs.
information, knowledge is power. 1 John 3:20-21: If our conscience condemns us,
we know that God is greater than our conscience and that he knows everything.
Hebrew 4:12:...It (The Word of God) cuts all the way through, to where soul and
spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and
thoughts of man’s heart. vs. sciences, information-physics, chemistry, computer
programming, psychiatry, psychology, artificial Intelligence, genetic engineering
and so on and so forth.
Next controversial thing is j) our religion is the “only” true vs. other religion/s
could also be true. Colossians 3:5-17 its long, but verse 11: Quote: As a result,
there is no longer any distinction between Gentiles and Jews, circumcised and
uncircumcised, barbarians, savages, slaves, and free men, but Christ is all, Christ is
in all. Unquote. Perhaps the key to all groups to be united is the word “Christ is in
all” regardless of religious affiliation as long as the curious mind is
balanced/moderate/loving; not hating; not conceit; has no proud claim, no
distinction. Words on 1John chapter1-5, Romans chapter1-16 could explain more.
The controversial teacher explained: Perhaps the key word for “only” true
religion vs. “also” true religion is “distinction.” If religion/group “a”, “b”, “c”,
“and others” continues to distinct itself from among the different
moderate/balanced religion/group because it has the “original” religion, it has a
continues connection of “rock” as their “only” representative of God here on earth
with proof of supernatural power or genuine miracles-confirmed true public or
private; and it’s “only” thru their “only” true doctrine that one could go to heaven
then their doctrine diverts the focus of the curious mind to “believe” that to be
saved is “only” thru being a member of “only” true, right, religion rather than
perhaps thru believing and obeying of the commandments which is the Word or
“Christ” or “spiritual rock.” Others on their only true correct interpretation of the
word, the rest are not correct or have errors. Others focus more on any other things
then there is distinction that could create superiority, boasting, conceit. Granting,
because of human natures especially perhaps motivated because of things to
appease pleasure or convenient or economic survival that a new group forms its
own religious group, but if the newly formed group still loves the other group/s and
obeys the commandment of love, perhaps the new group could still have chances
to see heaven.
k) never err.. Matthew16:17: “What about you?” he asked them. “who do you
say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living
God.” “Good for you, Simon son of John!” answered Jesus. “For this truth did not
come to you from any human being, but it was given to you directly by my father
in heaven. vs. perhaps also commit an error: Matthew 15:15-16: quote: Peter
spoke up, “Explain this saying to us.” Jesus said to them, “You are still no more
intelligent than others. 1John 1:10: If we say that we have not sinned, we make a
liar out of God, and his word is not in us. Unquote.
