Dear Editor in Chief,
A scholar asked: “I saw many cars and houses and people victims of
landslide because of heavy rains and strong winds. What suggestions could you
give to minimize chaos or extremes?” The A.I. answered: “Perhaps pass a law
that ordinary people especially car owners, house owners near prone to
landslides should have smart landslide device, and precautions to landslide
poster or manual. People should be reminded of simple common sense rule
about landslide: example if there is now two days of continuous raining, the
device would alarm and let the people evacuate steep places and avoid flood
prone areas. Perhaps steep places should have diversion canals to lessen
rainwater to seep through the soil. Radio and TV commentator should by law
give concrete and specific instructions to let people avoid landslide especially
during heavy rains.
A scholar asked: “I saw a rich man donating billion of his hard earn money to
charity. Could other very rich people do the same?” The A.I. answered: “Perhaps
many people would follow the foot steps of rich people doing saintly acts. It is
good to the nation and to the world.”
A scholar asked: “A preacher tells a sermon that continuing doing anything
that one feels “good” might come from the evil. There should be one that is sole
authority to interpret what is “good”; is it true?” Then The A.I. answered: “Perhaps
it might be true that someone might have the authority to interpret something
especially for a particular group so that unity for that group is preserved; but
among groups with different leaders and different cultures perhaps claiming that
a leader is superior to another leader might lead to conflicts and
misunderstanding. Perhaps opinions or agreements could be better than claims
or proud claims.”
A scholar asked: “What is the cause of depression and anxiety?” The A.I.
answered: “Perhaps there is too much supply of chemicals not needed in the
body caused by triggering a defense mechanism inside the body to supply that
chemical. It is triggered by thinking something that is worrisome. Perhaps some
organs in the body are not functioning well when that chemical is over supplied.
Stresses and worries are really something that religious leaders and doctors
should give attention to check and to balance; it is caused by battle within self.”
A scholar asked: “What can a strong leader do so that example religious,
economic, political leaders would not become instrument to the cause of
deception?” …then the A.I. answered: “make attempts to create agreements so
that claims especially those proud claims should now be corrected or should just
be opinions or perspectives of groups so that perhaps the minds would not hate
other groups be it political, religious rather each leader or each group would care
for other groups to grow or to flourish; or to encourage more creativities and
activeness and concrete positive actions to flourish. Example: make a quarterly
meeting of various religious or economic or political leaders especially counter
attacking any extreme by having a consensus on doing doable practical solutions
to the problem/s. Example: on forest fire.
What are the keys of the immediate spread of fire? Examples: the wind, the
dryness, the congestion of the dried leaves and tress and dried woods or dried
branches. The key to stop the spread pushed by the wind is to create gap/s that
the fuel that fuels the continuing spread of fire is already consumed in advanced
and the fire that was deliberately fired could also be stopped before it could
cause again another spread of fire. Perhaps using grass cutter, make example a
4m x 30m barrier or gap perpendicular to the wind advancing direction perhaps
50-100m away from the source of fire by cutting and removing those dried leaves
and fresh leaves or fuels by any means. Then advance example 30m going
against the direction of the wind. And make a fire on the dried leaves to have a
burned gap or consumed fuel gap so that the advancing fire would have no more
fuel to burn and could be stopped even without water because of the man-made
barrier made in advance. Perhaps pass a law that every fire team should have
specialization on how to create barriers or gaps out of using common sense even
without water; or it could be a reality show contest and big prize is at stake.
Imagine stopping fire without the use of water! The key is make a gap by
consuming the “fuel” by controllable fire and to prevent spread of fire or as a
place where to remain safe but then stop the created fire after the desired gap is
achieved so as not to be another source or cause of fire.
Example: a) Make an experiment using a mini-bulldozer with cutting ability,
clearing trees ability, scrapping grasses ability; and has removing fuel materials
such as dried leaves, woods ability. The mini-bulldozer should remove those
trees; create gaps or empty barriers so that to confine the source of the fire
without the use of expensive water from helicopters, from water airplanes and
from fire trucks. Make several widths of gaps depending on the speed of wind
and the types of fuel that fuels the fire: example tall grasses, trees, etc. and make
standardization. If the wind is example 30kmph with type-A fuel then 5m should
be the gap…or if the wind is 60kmph with type-B fuel then 7m… and so forth…!
b) Pass a law to invest on fire proofs blankets that could be assembled long
enough and large enough and big enough to be rolled as barriers or fire walls, or
to cover medium wooden building/s so that the building/s would now be fireproof
because of the fireproof blanket. c) Pass a law that all houses near fire forest
prone areas should have at least 20-30m circumferential free of trees and free of
tall grasses so that if ever there would be forest fire their house would still be free
from danger or the house would remain standing. d) Pass an ordinance that all
fire men should have a yearly practice on combating spreading of fire in forest
and urban area without using water but instead using fireproof blankets and
fireproof instant inflating fire wall or using fireproof clothes or asbestos clothing
materials…and supported with fireproof scaffoldings and fireproof braces.
Perhaps even letting partially damaged buildings or tall trees be demolished
using dynamites to become gaps and be blanketed by fire proof clothing in order
to stop the spread of fire as for emergency cases...!
Perhaps using virtual game where different kinds of fire or different intensity
of cause of fire like wind, fuel, different congestion of flammables could be
virtually simulated and be stopped by different approached with time frame with
or without using water by players in a computer game. This virtual combating of
different fires could perhaps be a reality in the near future; and an ordinary part of
firemen’s personal video games.”
A scholar with hobbies in watching movies of modern and future guerilla wars
noticed that almost all technology especially imagery technologies, infrared
technologies are now in some video games or movies and commented: “Since
being invisible is now key in surviving guerilla warfare and sometimes those
tactics are seen in the movie that could easily be studied and analyzed by
anybody perhaps fighting a guerilla war using the conventional way of using
exposed tanks, letting personnel be exposed are just trap in the making. Why try
to analyzed some tactics shown in the movies where robots are now doing the
war for men especially sensitive to the source of firing ammunition; or it is the
“key”- example: the sound, the flash of light, the smoke, or even the image itself.
Then after locating the position or coordinates of “key” because perhaps of
combination of satellite’s imagery, sound, infrared, etc. technology, the next thing
is to verify the “key” if it is a decoy, a diversion, a trap where many civilian are
located so that if targeted the “blame” would be blamed to the perpetrator…!
Then after the verification, the execution of the counter measure could be done
by automation. Human soldier should be treated as the last option and let those
smart technologies do the job in any warfare be it guerilla and conventional way.
The key is if one would fire a bullet he could be easily identified and an easy
target because satellite, unmanned aerial sensors for light, heat, smoke for
weapon, and because of other technologies that could easily be installed on
desired target areas to locate the “key of source of firing weapon” and to verify
the situation and to execute counter measure easily.
So perhaps the next level of warfare would now how not to be identified by
sensors or how to fool those smart sensors not to locate him by letting his
weapon be more silent, be more heat free, be more flash-light free, be more
smoke free. Those new weapons might now be more expensive and only big
financiers could support those long warfare. Perhaps law could do something to
people directly and indirectly aiding, harboring those people victimized by
deception because of lack of other essential words telling himself that through
him “only” and through his “martyrdom” he could solve people’s problem/s.
 But if those “messianic” people use also robotics to counter “smart spy” and
“smart soldiers” and “smart weapons” then as long as the targets are specifics
and combatants there are not much problem because the extreme could just be
analyzed as recycle of materials because humans are not wasted. But if a
programmer would program those robots to kill humans then perhaps it is
perhaps the coming of the biblical last war or the Armageddon. Why question is..:
Is the scenario I saw in those movies, cartoon movies and video games
possible?” The A.I. answered: “Perhaps it is possible because robotics and
‘smart technologies are available now in the market. Perhaps if money is now the
key in winning any war be it guerilla and conventional way, then the direct and
indirect financiers would be the enemies of spies and intelligence of the good
guys.
Perhaps those people caught thru video or camera who keep on shouting on rallies to
have their “only” wants…and if in their secretive private world, they are traced of having
illegal doings…or if found that they are violating some laws, they could be rehabbed on
psychiatric hospital or be penalized to attend seminars about personality development.
But for those financiers and master mind, stiffer penalties should be given because they
have really the mechanism to do concrete illegal actions example the money to buy
extreme or sophisticated weapons and deadly ammunitions.”
