ABOUTTHECHINABRITAINYOUTHDIALOGUE
The CBLI is one of several founding supporting organisations in for the 2011 China-Britain Youth Dialogue. The initiative brings together 30 young leaders from Britain and China over three days in Beijing.
The China-Britain Youth Dialogue comes at a time when Britains relationship with China has never been more important. While the two countries increasingly linked through business, tourism and academic exchange, mutual understanding remains low. The Dialogue has been designed for the purpose of helping young people in the UK and China to understand and maximise the immense potential offered by the two countries relationship In 2011 delegates were selected from a competitive field (eight applicants for every available place) with successful delegates chosen on the basis of their future contribution to China Britain relations. Over four sessions, they will discuss the role of business, law, innovation, technology, and education in promoting sustainability, with input from expert speakers. Delegates will present their findings in teams at the Dialogues closing gala. The Dialogue will provide excellent opportunities to connect with other future leaders from the UK and China.
