Write an account of your admission at NUST? It is Interesting story at least for me. The most amazing part of it is I have never appeared for the NUST Entry Test. It was end of March 2009 when we received some of the forms by ICT outreach scholarship Funds. ICT R&D Outreach Scholarship Funds issue some scholarships for the deprive areas of Pakistan on the behalf of Ministry of Information technology and Higher Education Commission. This was initiated by Dr. Ata-Ur-Rehman (Former Chair person of HEC). This helped lots of student to go for professional studies from the areas where they do not have concept of university & Higher Education. We have to submit forms with four of our preferred Universities with the discipline of our interest. NUST-IT was my last preference. The student who were selected on the bases of their matric and first year percentage were called for the preparation of the test conduct by ICT R&D funds and fortunately I was one of them. I havent appeared for the NUST Entry Test because it clashes with the IBA Karachis entry test. The preparation period was of twenty days in the month of July 2009. After that we have the test by ICT R&D Funds Outreach scholarship which was conducted on the 1 st Aug 2009. I wasnt selected by IBA Karachi because I had sour throat on the discussion day. It was a very interesting fact that I was not even hoping for selection although my test was pretty good gone. When I was selected and they asked for our Detail Marks sheet of F.Sc I was really surprised. It was last Friday of Ramdan when the universities were revealed to us for those we were selected. It was NUST-SEECS. I never heard the name SEECS it was always EME concept behind NUST. I prepare all my documents and pack my bags. Finally the day I reach NUST was 28th Sep 2009. It was orientation day. The amazing new campus and the university life temptation I cant forget the day yet. Now its almost 2 years of my journey in NUST & it cherishes me.
