Conferences Attended
• Nano-Bio Interface: This was held at SINP (Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics), Kolkata during March 3-6
2006. The conference was to discuss the interface between Nano-Technology and biology. I presented a
poster on “Role of Pectin in Cancer Therapy: Delivery of pectin through nanoparticles"
• Indo-French Bioinformatics Meeting: This was held in NCBS during July 13th-15th 2006 where various
concepts on Bioinformatics were discussed. I attended the conference and was exposed to various
databases and tools in bioinformatics.
• Computational Insights into Biological Systems: I will be giving a talk on “Are serotonin receptor genes
under circadian control?” This is going to be held in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India during
December 26th-28th 2006.
