Well I’m celebrating 20 winters in ‘da hoff’ - and invite you to join me in a resort
which just keeps getting better and better. Last year trip was quality; fantastic
snow and beautiful spring sunshine (not to mention the chicken and chips on the
mountain…!)

This year we’re heading out on Easter Sunday for a week of pleasure on the
Penken, awesome afternoons on the Ahorn…and glorious gravity-abusing
gratification on the glacier (not to mention re-defining après ski with some
unique evenings – including visiting the igloo village (check out - www.white-
lounge.at)

Please note, you get child reduction only for the extra beds (3rd or 4th bed in the

* the Garni Strass is now linked by Glass walkway to main hotel –meaning you
can access wellness/pools/breakfast without having to go outside.

All include use of Strass wellness area, 2 heated pools, 7 sauna’s, hot tub &
outdoor zen garden / aqua bar. Wellness / beauty treatments bookable include:
extensive massage, hammam, sea water pool, thalasso, facials. Please book

*Please don’t make the mistake of pre-booking equipment on the internet, it is

always the poorest quality and you will have no come back/exchange option if
you are unhappy with it. Our chosen rental shops are situated next to the hotel
& offer free exchange if you’re unhappy with your hired boots or ski’s. They also
offer our group between a discount on any purchased equipment (I need to
accompany you to get the best deal).

Tuition
SMT: All English speaking (enquire at SMT office about the on mountain crèche)
- premier ski school in town.

6 days ski-ing (6 x 4 hours, 10-midday, 1pm-3pm) £95

6 days snowboard (6 x 2 hrs) £95
We will take you to the ski school meeting place on the mountain on Monday
morning. Meet in reception at 0930.

Exhilerating Extra’s
Some of these are weather dependant, but to give you some idea of what we’ve
got lined up, and so you can budget for the week, here’s the lowdown:

Partynite @ White Lounge (see www.white-lounge.at)

At sunset, travel by Austria’s biggest cablecar to an igloo village some 2000 m
high! Enjoya cocktail in a glass made from ice and watch a film in a cinema
made completely of snow…this place is amazing. Iglu party Tues 25th March.
Reservation neccesarry (Overnight stays incl dinner, sauna and accomm also
available on request).

Toboganning in the Forgotten Valley – we travel through the inside of

amountain to the wilderness of Floitental – a beautiful deserted valley. We walk
with fire torches up a snow covered mountain track to a 170 yr old traditional
alm (mountain hut), where we hear Wilfred yodel, play with a washboard, and
take part in a cow milking competition (I kid you not), whilst sampling schnapps
and toboganning down back at the end of an unforgettable evening in beautiful
surroundings. UNMISSABLE.
Cost €35 euros (includes return taxi from Mayrhofen to Ginzling, fire torch,
toboggan hire and safety instruction, 3 x schnapps, all entertainment – cow
milking, live music…and a glimpse of the fabled snow monkey!

An Evening at Freddy & Freida’s

A perennial favourite. This evening cannot be accurately explained. It’s
entertaining, memorable(from what people remember…), bizarre and quite
surreally unique. Lets just say, trust me to give you an experience which
involves the strangest looking hosts you’ll ever lay eyes on, hitting nails into a
tree trunk, homemade mystical schnapps and the most
compelling/irritating/ingenious games you’ll ever come across.
Cost: €30 (includes:return taxi,1 large beer/ wine, 3 x mystical meisterwurz
schnapps- only 16 places available due to size of mountain hut).

Bowling Evening/ Fondue – on request

DEPOSIT
All I need now is proof that you’ve booked your flight & £50 deposit.
You can pay the balance of accomm by cheque or in resort in cash (no credit
cards pls).

Please bear in mind that ‘Spring Tracks’ runs from Sunday 23rd March for one
week.The Hotel is full to capacity for any later/earlier arrivals or departures.
