High Measurement Accuracy 1 16 series meters are designed to meet the most stringent requirements for residential, 14/1 commercial and industrial applications. They are available in a wide variety of configurations to suit the distribution network: Active energy meters Class 1 accuracy for transformer connection Class 2 accuracy for direct and transformer connection Reactive energy meters Class 3 accuracy for direct and transformer connection Class 1 and 2 meters meet IEC 60521, Class 3 meters meet IEC 60145. Long-term Stability The use of robust construction techniques, precision bearings and a high torque driving system ensure that 1 16 series meters combine excellent metrological characteristics with long14/1 term stability. Accelerated life testing has shown that the Actaris Ferraris meters provide satisfactory operation in networks for more than 40 years. Load Capacities of up to 1000% The 1 16 series of meters caters for a wide variety of load capacities; models with 400%, 14/1 500%, 600%, 800% and 1000% load capacities are available. Direct Connection up to 160A The layout and diameter of the current terminals in 1 series direct connected meters enable 14 currents of up to 160A to be accommodated. The terminals are suitable for copper and aluminium cables. Choice of Connection Styles 1 16 series meters are available with asymmetrical (DIN) or symmetrical (UTE) connections, 14/1 and can be equipped with optional auxiliary terminals for signalling purposes. Fraud Prevention 1 16 series meters offer a number of features to help to minimise fraud: 14/1 Main cover and terminal cover can be sealed separately Reverse running stop Voltage links under the main cover (internal voltage links)
