Description: BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS Third Generation (3G) mobile devices and services will transform wireless commun ications

in to on-line, real-time connectivity. 3G wireless technology will allo w an individual to have immediate access to location-specific services that offe r information on demand. The first generation of mobile phones consisted of the analog models that emerged in the early 1980s. The second generation of digital mobile phones appeared about ten years later along with the first digital mobile networks. During the second generation, the mobile telecommunications industry experienced exponential growth both in terms of subscribers as well as new types of value-added services. Mobile phones are rapidly becoming the preferred means of personal communication, creating the world's largest consumer electronics in dustry. The rapid and efficient deployment of new wireless data and Internet ser vices has emerged as a critical priority for communications equipment manufactur ers. Network components that enable wireless data services are fundamental to th e next-generation network infrastructure. Wireless data services are expected to see the same explosive growth in demand that Internet services and wireless voi ce services have seen in recent years. This white paper presents an overview of current technology trends in the wireless technology market, a historical overvi ew of the evolving wireless technologies and an examination of how the communica tions industry plans to implement 3G wireless technology standards to address th e growing demand for wireless multimedia services. We also show the differences between third generation wireless technology when compared to different wireless technologies. The need to carry some specific tasks by using vent of Embedded Systems. This paper presents, ems Organisation, considering a digital camera of Embedded Systems and Practical Requirements hardware and software made the ad Definition, Typical Embedded Syst as example, Different Categories of Embedded Systems.

The future of technology at times becomes easier to predict. Computers will comp ute faster, materials will become stronger and medicine will cure more diseases. The technology that works at the nanometer scale of molecules Atom will an enab le part of this future, enabling great improvements in future, it must be used i n all the fields, in which the human present. Nanotechnology will touch our lives right-out to the water we drink and the air we breathe. Once we have ability to capture position and change the configuratio n of the molecule, we would be able to create filtration systems that will scrub the toxins from the air or remove hazardous organisms from the water we drink. Space will always open up to us in new ways. With the current cost of transporti ng pay loads into space being as, high as $20,000 per kg, little is being done t o take the advantage of space. Nanotechnology helps us to deliver more machines of smaller size and greater functional it into space, paving the way for solar s ystem expansion. The application ofnanotechnology might even allow us to adapt o ur body for survive in space. We will able to expand control of systems from the macro level to the micro leve l and beyond, while simultaneously reducing the cost associated with manufacturi ng of products. In this paper, the basics of capturing an image, image processing to modify and enhance the image are discussed. There are many applications for Image Processin g like surveillance, navigation, and robotics. Robotics is a very interesting fi eld and promises future development so it is chosen as an example to explain the various aspects involved inImage Processing . The various techniques of Image Processing are explained briefly and the advanta

ges and disadvantages are listed. There are countless different routines that ca n be used for variety of purposes. Most of these routines are created for specif ic operations and applications. However, certain fundamental techniques such as convolution masks can be applied to many classes of routines. We have concentrat ed on these techniques, which enable us to adapt, develop, and use other routine s and techniques for other applications. The advances in technology have created tremendous opportunities for visual system andimage processing. There is no dou bt that the trend will continue into the future.
