In our professional development we are constantly learning, which is why professionals must

prepare and update ourselves permanently. In the educational field, the teaching profession is so

complex that it requires the teacher to have a great command of pedagogical strategies; In the

classrooms, a pedagogue-researcher teacher with great human and social training is necessary, so

Education today's essential mission is the training of highly trained professionals who act as

responsible, competent citizens committed to social development. This implies that the training

process of teachers at any educational level is full of comprehensive knowledge and skills. that

allows you to fulfill the functions required by your profession, for this reason training is not just

another tool to meet the needs of students, it is a personal motivation for the full development of

our profession.

I have worked for two years as a teacher in a technological training school and with the

experience acquired throughout my professional occupation, the need arises to continue the study

process at a higher level than that carried out so far, for this reason My desire is to pursue

master's studies which cover topics related to pedagogy and research.

The master's degree in education offered by the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia -

Bucaramanga Campus, meets the essential requirements to achieve the objectives I seek to carry
out my postgraduate studies, since it provides the necessary tools to perform in research with an

excellent use of pedagogy.

The reasons why I want to obtain a master's degree in education are mainly due to professional

reasons. Obtaining a master's degree will give me the possibility of improving my quality as a

teacher, it will give me new tools and knowledge to translate into student learning and it will also

be a new opportunity to return to the classrooms and share my knowledge during these years

with other colleagues.

Obtaining a contemporary and global perspective on educational issues is essential for my

profession, as well as knowing the pedagogical foundations that encompass the educational

process and participating in the development of teaching plans and programs through the

application of methodologies; all this in order to be able to create innovative proposals that,

supported by the use of new technologies, promote an improvement in learning.

This master's degree in education will also allow me to apply for other positions in the

educational sector and thus be able to carry out some measures that will greatly contribute to

improving education in this country.

With the aim of demonstrating that education from any field is essential, my degree proposal

consists of the design of a mobile application with essential and collaborative information for

pregnant women. In this application, women will find information about their self-care,
necessary external care, risk factors and warning signs; In addition, you will be able to have

personalized control over the dates of your check-ups and exams. This tool will have a large

database of frequently asked questions, videos on healthy practices, and more. After the birth of

the baby you will find all the postpartum care and care with your baby ; Likewise, you will have

personalized tools generating control sheets on: vaccines, growth and development

appointments. Allowing a continuous educational process for the mother. This is a viable project

thanks to the ICT revolution in education and the use that will be given to it as an educational

strategy.

In conclusion, studying this master's program is not only a great opportunity for academic and

professional growth, but also a responsibility that I am willing to assume and develop

appropriately with the aim of strengthening my skills and acquiring essential knowledge to

provide a effective work as a teacher.
