Account Executive, K-12 Senior Vice President of Sales Los Angeles, CA The Account Executive, K-12 will be responsible for directly managing a list of current accounts while ensuring client retention and prospecting for new accounts. The right person will have close working relationships and support from the creative team, account directors and production teams. We work as a tightly-knit, highly charged group, and we'll be sure you have the dedicated support you need.

Responsibilities: Implement sales initiatives directed primarily at key advertisers, including their planning & buying agencies. Develop compelling value propositions for targeted clients utilizing re:fuels unique role and relationship with K-12 demo. Reinforce and expand re:fuels brand equity within the advertising marketplace. Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with the important decision makers throughout the selling process: buying and selling team, planning personnel, account management, and clients. Position a demographic and product that serves a particular market successfully. Be a market-maker that has a track record of working with clients to fully understand and develop opportunities, and then fund specific strategic media driven programs. Create the budget that funds their specific program(s). Focus on under-developed categories and converting them into long term strategic advertisers/partners.

Requirements: Experience in business development and executing sound sales strategies and tactics aimed at national advertisers across key business categories. Experience in the youth market: kids, teens, ethnic groups or population segment. Candidate should have a deep and thorough understanding of media planning and buying dynamics; television sales experience, a plus. Creativity and perseverance to develop business over the long term. Established contacts are necessary at the client level and media agency - senior planning & account teams. Self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can flexibly adapt to the needs of the marketplace. A thorough understanding of advertisers and ad agencies and how they operate, with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the media decision process. Possess a reputation for being an enthusiastic, energetic, effective networker who enjoys the selling process and is committed to building relationships and credibility for the network. A strong customer focus coupled with a sense of urgency for the business and a passion for delivering the highest level of client service. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with impressive personal presence.
