Good morning and welcome to Romania! Both students and teachers feel honored by your presence here in our midst. To begin, let's talk about the project "Improving literacy and numeracy skills", which is actually why we met here today: a common goal. We met in order to learn. The project Improving literacy and numeracy skills is a partnership between five (primary) schools from five European countires. It runs from September 2010 (two thousand ten) to July 2012 (two thousand twelve). Morkved Skole / Norway is the coordinating partner. The main focus is on pedagogical and management issues. The project addresses the common challenges for European schools in search of the best teaching methods and tools within literacy and numeracy. It focuses on exchanging good ideas and on sharing best practices. Assessment is emphasized as one of the most important tools for raising the pupils' skills within literacy and numeracy. The participating schools come from countries with quite different historical, cultural and educational backgrounds. Objectives: -to promote intercultural competencies and knowledge for pupils, teachers and heads of staff -to improve the schools approaches and teaching methods towards attaining and developing skills in reading, writing and number -to develop better learning strategies based on good-practices in all participating schools -to improve assessment within literacy and numeracy education. To show that we have prepared properly for this visit, we prepared an artistic program. Dancing and fun! So

Next, we will be pleased to show you Ruslana a modern dance by our school dance group. The third grade. Applause for our litlle dancers!

Gymnastics is a sport involving a series of movements requiring physical strength, flexibility, balance, strength, grace and kinaesthetic awareness. A number of acrobatic gymnastics have prepared the students of our school, using the devices from the gym. Let's applaud longer to lose the emotions!

To show that we are united, we have prepared a dance quite common here, in Romania: Romanian round!Let us take the hand and rotate of the exciting rhythms of popular music.

Now we see the "piece of resistance" of our artistic program: an Irish dance. A intense and solar dance. A combination of geometry in motion, energy, rhythm and music interpreted by the body, and not least, fun for everyone. A dance interpreted by our school dance group. Let`s see!

Social dance is one of the most outstanding dance styles ready for you today. A delight for the audience! So, Let`s see choreography!

Last dance, but not least, is Sarba performed by our school group dance.

Our artistic program ends here. We remind once more that we feel very good in your presence and we are glad that we have the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others and share our ideas.
