Coca-Cola recognizes and appreciates women through the use of their MDC model in Africa.

Coca-Cola appreciates and acknowledges gender stratification and takes this seriously. Gender stratification brings to light the difference between rewards and resource allocation between the male and female roles. Coca-Cola works diligently in Africa to combat the issue of gender stratification. Coca-Cola also works hard to combat the feminization of poverty in Africa. The African households headed by single mothers is increasing thus the feminization of poverty is a real issue that Coca-Cola is working to lessen by making the playing ground for employment opportunity more equal. FedEx is also working in the area of gender roles diligently. FedEx takes a unique approach in that FedEx ensure gender equality, first by framing their protocol in a gender neutral fashion. FedEx has done so much work in the area of gender neutrality that they have been recognized many times. Gender neutral basically reflects that there is no difference between the hiring of a woman or a man as long as the person can perform duties as required. FedEx takes diversity very seriously in regard to gender roles, so much so that gender neutral job descriptions and qualifications are a must. Oracle, like Coca-Cola, works to equalize gender stratification. As mentioned earlier, gender stratification brings to light the difference between rewards and resource allocation between the male and female roles. Oracle also promotes diversity and does not tolerate hiring and retaining employees based on demographics in regard to discrimination based on those factors. Oracle targets different ethnicities which includes Hispanics. Oracle works hard to include all employees free from discrimination based on unique demographics and promotes a working environment that is diverse and harmonious.

Cultural diversity has been used to distinguish between the universal, the particular and the generalized. Both social and cultural features are shared by people worldwide. Cultural traditions in which are common link individuals from different backgrounds together (Kottak, & Kozaitis, 2003). Over the years Starbuck has been successful with their attempts to create a harmonious diverse environment. Their explosive growth changed the world of coffee. Starbucks carefully and diligently measures the appropriateness of their decisions. The organization embraces diversity and understands that is as necessary component in the industry. Starbucks recognizes the need to contribute and apply the highest standard of diversity and excellence. Starbucks experience has given them the opportunity to lead the coffeehouse industry.
