floatplane

2011

a squirrel digs garden-craters a full moon

time now big sack birdseed

chicken-wire you catch yrself talking to yrself

dizzy ladder above the ferns

ashamed of myself caulking a mousehole

both arms cutting a dead branch

a body shoveling all its parts

you garden among invisible species

cloudy so much for eyes

* glaucoma

close yr eyes & youre out of those clouds

yr left leg two inches longer

face first decay

contemplate the body quiet propellerdriven plane

my okra has new flowers

a floatplane!

floatplane look at me watering the garden!

floatplane maybe paper wings

that floatplane makes you a wilderness

floatplanes gone now the whole day
