complete without work experience. It is well evident that work experience is an indispensable part of every professional course. In the same manner practical work in any organization is must for each and every individual, who is undergoing management course. Without the practical exposure one cannot consider himself as a qualified or a capable manager. Entering in the organization is altogether like stepping into a new world. At first, everything seems strange and unheard but as the time passes one can understand the concept and working of the organization and thereby develop professional relationship. Initially it is felt that as if classroom study is of less relevance and is useless in any concerns workings. But gradually it is realized that all fundamental & basic concepts studied are linked in one or other ways to the organization. But how and what can be done with fundamental, depends upon the intellect and applicability of an individual. In my research I have tried to find out INVESTMENT BEHAVIOUR OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS while conducting a research on the professors of mohan lal Sukhadia University one of the oldest university in the country, having the finest faculty in Rajasthan state. In my research work, I have analyzed the primary data from the faculty, both permanent and temporary of mohan lal Sukhadia University, UDAIPUR especially FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES. For this I have prepared a set of questionnaire, for the university faculty.

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
Investment is a term frequently used in the fields of economics, business management and finance. It can mean savings alone, or savings made through delayed consumption. Investment

can be divided into different types according to various theories and principles. When an asset is bought or a given amount of money is invested in the bank, there is anticipation that some return will be received from the investment in the future.

There are a number of definitions of investment. While dealing with the various options of investment, the defining terms of investment need to be kept in mind.

According to economic theories, investment is defined as the per-unit production of goods, which have not been consumed, but will however, be used for the purpose of future production. Examples of this type of investments are tangible goods like construction of a factory or bridge and intangible goods like 6 months of on-the-job training. In terms of national production and income, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has an essential constituent, known as gross investment. OBJECTIVES 1. To study the conceptual framework of investor behavior. 2. To review the available literature. 3. To study the investment profile and preference of university teachers. 4. To analyze the investor behavior of university teacher.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Major Hypotheses

There is a positive relationship between the

university teacher perspectives to the market movements.It was important to collect detailed information on various aspects for effective analysis. As The finance sector today is becoming more of a battle based on information based society companies with superior information enjoys a competitive advantage. Methodology Adopted The information was collected through personal interview and telephonic conversation conducted through the mode of questionnaire.

Analysis of DataData collection The data was collected through primary as well as secondary source. PRIMARY DATA: Primary data was collected from 30 respondents using a schedule of question and a survey was conducted. SECONDARY DATA: Secondary data was collected mainly from internet, printed journals, newspaper articles and books written on the Indian stock markets. SAMPLING: Judgment, non-random sampling was used. Respondents were requested to help with the questionnaire at MOHAN LAL SUKHADIA UNIVERSITY.
