DESCRIPTIONS SCOPE OF SUPPLY

EMEPMIS OPTIONS / COMMENTS VENDOR shall supply complete hotline multiplexer telephone system, hotline telephone and all associated accessories required for the complete functioning of the complete hotline telephone system to be installed at TaR platform. The hotline telephone multiplexer system at TaR shall be installed in IP-PBX system cabinet at Radio Equipment Room (RER). Refer appendix G, TAR-001-79-73-931 Facility Telephone System Cable Block Diagram. The hotline telephone system hardware shall withstand ambient temperature of 50C in view of HVAC system failure. All equipment and accessories associated to hotline telephone system shall be installed in safe area. Any cables related to hotline telephone system installed or passing through hazardous area shall be armoured and fire retardant in compliance with IEC 60332 Part III Cat. A. VENDOR shall be responsible to provide documentation, drawings and certification.

EMEPMIS OPTIONS / COMMENTS Factory acceptance test at the Vendors Facility. VENDOR shall be responsible for preservation and packing of the hotline telephone system for shipment to the fabrication yard(s). VENDOR shall be responsible to provide special tools, spare parts and all operating, application and maintenance software as called for by this specification. VENDOR scope of supply for hotline telephone system shall comprise of the following equipment and requirements (as minimum): a) Production Supervisor Room. Refer appendix G, TAR-001-79-73-931 Facility Telephone System Cable Block Diagram. One (1) desktop hotline telephone b) Central Control Room. Preservation, surface preparation, painting, packing and transportation of the complete package to a nominated fabrication yard located in Malaysia. VENDORs assistance during installation, start-up / commissioning. All special tools required for operation, removal, installation & maintenance purposes.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS General The Hotline telephone system shall provide direct point-to-point voice communications between the hotline telephones in Prod. supervisor room, CCR, alternate Command Centre, ROR and other surrounding platform (GuD, IBA, SMA & Bek-C) and onshore Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal (TCOT). The Hotline Telephone System is a safety critical system.

EMEPMIS OPTIONS / COMMENTS The hotline telephones shall dial and connect automatically to the distant end when the handset is lifted off hook, the distant end called extension shall ring until answered or until the caller replaces the handset on Hook. The hotline telephone extensions shall not be wired through the IP-PBX system. The hotline telephone extension shall interface hotline multiplexer FXS analogue voice circuits. The hotline multiplexer system shall interface to the LAN router for access to the existing Tapis-D hotline telephone system and network. The hotline telephones interface extension shall have RJ-11 standard connection. The hotline telephones shall be standard analogue type telephones without a keypad, they shall have a visual illuminating ring indicator and a distinctive audible ring with volume adjustment. All Hotline telephones shall be coloured a distinctive red to make them distinguishable from the standard IP-PBX telephones. All RJ-11 cables and hotline telephone outlet (RJ-11 outlet) shall be supply and installed by

EMIT shall furnish the detail hotline telephone system technical requirement, specification and interface during detailed design phase.

Power Sources System Power Sources The platform power supply source to the hotline exchange system is 120 VAC UPS. VENDOR shall be responsible for providing all necessary power supply unit, step-down converter, distribution terminals and interposing relay panels to enable correct operation of the hotline exchange system.

4.0 4.1

Grounding System Earth Bus Bars The hotline multiplexer systems shall be connected to the IP-PBX system cabinet internal PE and RE bus bar. Connections to the installation earthing circuits shall be provided by two brass M10 bolts, one at each end of each equipment earth bus bar,
